Reviews
We visited the Olive Garden in Bloomington, IN with a group of 12 people, including six children age 10 and under, and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted quickly and warmly by our servers Kayden (sp?) and Mazin, and they were nothing short of PHENOMENAL.
They were patient, kind, attentive, and genuinely funny—exactly what you hope for when dining with a large group, especially one with kids. They never once seemed overwhelmed or irritated. Instead, they made us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly taken care of. Our kids were treated with respect and warmth, which is rare and so appreciated.
So many servers tend to expect the worst from large parties with children and let that show in their attitude—not these two. Kayden and Mazin went above and beyond, stayed positive the entire time, and turned what could have been a stressful outing into an absolutely enjoyable one.
Hands down, this was the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had with our kids. Outstanding service, great attitudes, and a team that clearly cares about their guests. We will absolutely be back and hope to be lucky enough to have them again!

I ordered the endless sauces. They were brought to our table in a short time. After that though, the endless sauces came to an end. We ran out an we waited, waited some more, now I needed a refill and waited…probably for another 15 mins. Then we got more sauces an a refill.
We were a party of 6. Only one bowl of salads was brought out after 20 mins or so. We asked if they could bring another, knowing that wouldn’t be enough. Sure enough my son didn’t get one, because the bowl ran dry. He sat waiting for probably 10 mins for that other bowl, that you would’ve thought would have brought in the beginning anyways. The server kept saying that our food was just about to come. Multiple times.
Eventually our food came after about 1 hour an 10 mins. My daughter cut into her chicken on to find an extremely rare piece of chicken. Was gross. We called the manager over. I explained. She didn’t really care about the wait, nor reply about it. She did get my daughter another plate though. By now the whole table was over the meal. Grossed out, or tired of waiting. Science says after 20 mins you get full. So 3 breadsticks an over an hour later we were either full of bread, grossed out, or just over it. Daughters meal was wrote off the ticket. Rest of us tuff luck. I tipped the server still well. I’ll never go back.
Pic shows the nasty, raw chicken. Not sure how kitchen even pulls that off. I’m always so worried about undercooked chicken, that if anything I cook too long.
The breadsticks that came with the pasta were too salty as it had salt sprinkled on top and the pasta had a weird taste to it. Same for the dip.
I’ve had plenty of Italian food in my life so I know it’s not an acquired taste issue.
The only reason I’m giving it an extra star is because the chicken soup that came with the entree (pasta) was fab and worth paying for!
The ambience was good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the taste is definitely not up to the mark.
