There’s parking for $10 a little walk away and parking for $40 close by.
She was kind and attentive. She checked up on us often and always came with a beautiful smile.
This restaurant is inside the new Sheraton Hotel.
The food was surprisingly better than the last Niagara restaurant we ate at where we felt like we just paid for the view.
The window seats do get a view of the falls and the bridge to the USA.
Sandra offered us two delicious amuse-bouche on the house to start.
The artic char was done to perfection with a crispy skin and hot temperature.
The risotto was nice, creamy and very cheesy.
The branzino was nicely done as well but I found the orzo a bit too oily.
The side rapini was a smaller portion than expected but tasted good. I also noticed only afterwards that I was charged $15 for it when the menu stated $12.
The downside of dining here is that a LF tourist tax of 7.9% is automatically charged to your bill and cannot be removed unless you’re a Niagara region resident. So even being an Ontarian .. I had to pay.
Overall I’d recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good food and service with a view.
I dined with my wife and our baby; they provided a high chair without issue. We ordered the cappelletti pasta, the branzino, and the burrata to start. Everything was cooked well and tasted excellent. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re here.
The menu was fixed, which we understood going in, but what was unacceptable was the complete refusal to accommodate a mushroom allergy. This isn’t a preference it’s an allergy. Despite explaining this, no alternative was offered, leaving me unable to eat an entire meal while my partner ate hers. For a restaurant positioning itself as upscale or fine dining, this level of inflexibility and disregard for dietary restrictions is shocking.
To make matters worse, we were served wine in a chipped glass, which is both unsafe and careless. The food itself was tasteless, uninspired, and visually unappetizing, falling far short of what you would expect for the price being charged.
Speaking of price there was a $200 deposit required, and no menu prices were disclosed. We were then blindsided with an additional $400 bill on top of the deposit, totaling $600 for an experience where one person didn’t even get to eat. That lack of transparency feels misleading at best.
Overall, poor communication, no allergy accommodation, careless service, bland food, and a surprise bill made this an experience I would never repeat or recommend. Fine dining should come with professionalism, transparency, and basic respect for guests this missed the mark entirely.
We arrived around 5:30 PM, and the atmosphere was perfect — calm, elegant, and not too noisy. We only waited a few minutes before being seated. Our server was incredibly kind and even offered to take a picture of us before the sun went down, which was such a thoughtful touch. He never rushed us, allowing us to truly enjoy our evening.
The food was exceptional. For appetizers, we ordered the Burrata and Calamari — both delicious, but the Calamari really stood out. The sauce was perfectly balanced — flavorful but not too spicy — and complemented the dish beautifully.
For our mains, my husband ordered the Cavatelli Al Funghi (he’s a big mushroom lover!). He didn’t realize it included bacon, but it added the perfect depth of flavor without overpowering the mushrooms. The taste reminded us of a luxurious stroganoff — rich and comforting.
I ordered the Linguine Pescatore, and it was outstanding — generous portions of seafood and perfectly cooked pasta. I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take a photo (a good sign!).
The wine was excellent, and we finished the meal with a lovely dessert — the perfect ending to a perfect night.
If I had one small note, it would be that I wish more guests dressed for the occasion. This restaurant has such a refined, romantic atmosphere that it truly deserves to be enjoyed in style. A little dressing up makes the whole experience feel even more special!
Overall, this was a memorable, five-star dining experience. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re celebrating something special — or simply want an unforgettable meal — this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
