Had a great experience at El Rodeo — the food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the margaritas were incredible. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be back to.

My family visit on Sunday late afternoon. It wasn’t busy. Gentleman who served foods was sweet. That’s it. we ordered 6 different dishes. Salty, salty, salty….and not worth for price!!!!
I paid over 170 dollars for us and only my son enjoyed coke. I had sea foods and I got sick too.
I usually gives good reviews. All foods were crazy salty.!!!! I hope management see this review and check the all the foods.
I am actually wonder the person who highly recommend this restaurant to us must hate us.

WE LOVE CARLOS!
I typically dislike loud live music during my meal but it seems mariachi is the exception and this place has it every other Friday. They do my favorite drink amazingly (michelada) and their food is superb. I’ve never had a bad experience here and it’s my wife and I’s favorite spot in town.

I recently dined at El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant in Concord, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The food was quite good, showcasing classic Mexican flavors that hit the spot. From flavorful tacos to hearty burritos, the menu offered a variety of options that left a positive impression.

While the food stood out, the service was just okay. The staff was polite, but there seemed to be some room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. Nevertheless, it didn’t significantly detract from the overall dining experience.

El Rodeo provides a comfortable setting for enjoying classic Mexican cuisine. If you’re in the mood for tasty dishes with a laid-back atmosphere, this restaurant is worth a visit.

We’ve been coming here for the past 6 yrs or so. (Give or take a bit) . We always ask for Sandra and we just met Fransisco at the bar. They have amazing service and very personalable.
Hubby always goes for the mocaheti and I get usually the tacos El pastor. Kiddos usually get the casa tequila platter to split.
All around fun place. Keep up the solid work.
Ps: they did go up in price … Which we understand but not thrilled. We

Food, drinks, and service are good. The background noise is unbearable. They seriously need some sound dampening panels and rugs on the walls. We couldn’t hear each other talk at the bar and the booth was only a bit better. We get takeout to avoid the headache.

I come here once in a while for the nachos and I always love them. The staff is usually very friendly and gives space, but also available if we want to pay or need anything. Recently, I went with my friends to catch up and we felt very rushed. We got our food and maybe five to ten minutes later, our server came over with a check and asked us if we wanted boxes to go. Then they started cleaning off the table and took my drink that was mostly full still. My friends and I were very put off by this and felt like we were not wanted there. So we paid and left. All told, from walking in to walking out of the restaurant, we were in there about 30 minutes.

Traveled to Concord to have lunch with my sister. She has eaten here prior and recommended it . My sister had the lunch Chimichanga , it comes soft or fried, she asked for fried, it came soft. I ordered the Chori Pollo asked that they hold the cheese, the held the cheese. it was served withground beef on top of my chicken that was very greasy and spicy that was not listed on the menu, if I had know i wouldn’t have ordered this. I scraped the pile off greasy beef off the chicken which soaked through 2 napkins. I asked to see the server, he shrugged his shoulders and said you asked for no cheese. I had to ask him to to wipe the table which was now covered with the greasy oil that leaked from the pile of napkins so it would not drip onto my clothes. My other half ordered Carne Asada which was fine except the pico come in a mini fried flour bowl , they didn’t drain the pico befor placing in the bowl so when you picked it up the bottom full off. Last the beans listed on the menu are refried beans the menu just says beans. Overall opinion of this place was barely a 3 , the server was a zero as had no customer service skills at all( he could have learned alot for his co-workers if he took the time). Vaule for the money was a 3 ( 3 people after tip was about $25 a person, with 2 ordering from the lunch menu, one person only had water to drink the other 2 had a non alcohol drink)

Got a combo plate of burrito, enchiladas with rice and beans. The taste was good, nice quantity for the price.
We had gone in around 9 pm, well before closing but the servers were too much in a hurry for us to leave. Felt a bit unfriendly.
