Tried Woodchips for dinner with my wife. Got the Valentines special to try several meats and sides. Loved everything, but the brisket was our favorite (sliced for me, chopped for my wife). Brooklyn took great care of us and helped with some recommendations. We will definitely be going back.

First time here and it was amazing. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was inviting and down ro earth. Our food was so good. Husband had the jambalaya. I had pulled chicken. With the different bbq sauces (we tried all of them) it just enhanced the flavor of thr already fabulous meal. But I would say thr best part was our server Shaylee! She went above and beyond our expectations. She was so friendly and attentive. We have not had service like that in a long time! Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be coming back!

I had Jambalaya and beans and my husband had tacos. All the food was great and I had enough to take home. Service was great and the waitress was very helpful in choosing our order and really on top of things.
The place is warm and cozy with lots of wood, giving a rustic feel and the prices were fair.

First time visiting Lapeer. My friend was in the mood for BBQ so we ended up at Woodchips. Whitney was our server and she was great. We had the burnt end Mac n cheese and pull pork sandwiches. Both were really tasty. Burnt Ends for me lacked the char I like but still great flavor. Amazing selection of BBQ sauces. Definitely worth a visit. Decor is unique and fun.

We recently had a bad experience at a local bbq place and wanted to try somewhere else. This was a lot more of what we expected. The meat was fresh, flavorful, smokey, and tender. The sides were also a treat. The service was great and the atmosphere also wonderful. Worth a stop!

We’re in the area for an week. Wanted to try this place. Was really good. I had the pulled pork. Hubby had the beef brisket. Both was delicious. The long island iced tea i had after the day of traveling was great. Shaylee our server took great care of us. Will would for sure stop here again. (Being from Florida. Was just disappointed there was no garlic bread)

Megan was great. The Egg Rolls are legit. I would recommend this place for future adventures in all kinds of flavors. Get the Sweet Potato fries and try their Rootbeer on tap. You’ll love it all. The price point is average but better because of the Tastes
