Celia’s is a Bay Area Mexican staple for a good reason. The dining rooms are really nicely appointed and they’re always well staffed. The food is solid, but not the best around. Hits the spot consistently and great for large groups. It’s clean and there’s usually something for everyone on the menu. Happy to come back next time I get a craving for carne asada or queso fundido

We brought our kids here for dinner, and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff was patient and attentive, even helping us with extra napkins and booster seats. The tacos and enchiladas came out quickly, hot and flavorful, with portions big enough to share. The vibrant décor and music created a festive yet family-friendly atmosphere.

This is a little gem in Menlo Park. Place is clean, food is excellent and large portions and the staff is friendly and efficient. We came here with a large party for my moms birthday and everything came about perfect, fast and we never ran out of chips or water! Vegetarian options too!

We dropped in without a reservation, on a Saturday night, with a soccer team and all the parents. What an amazing job the staff did! They had a back room where they could seat us all. They split the check per family group, and got every order right. The food came out promptly. And it was delicious! I had shrimp fajitas, the tastiest grilled shrimp ever. My daughter and wife got taco salads with chicken, they said it was the best they ever had. Absolutely wonderful staff and great food!

Excellent enchiladas and crispy tacos. I’ve heard the other items such as tamales were excellent as well. A bit on the pricey side, roughly $16-20 a plate but they are well sized portions. The chips and salsa are great too.

Update: Increasing rating from 3 to 4 stars. After reading my review, the restaurant wrote to me and said the price had been a mistake. They told me that they would make it up to me the next time I visited the place.

Had a craving for Mexican food, and happened to drive by; who can resist a good happy hours, chips and guac? Easy parking, seems like it would be good for groups; there was only 2 of us, so sat in the bar. Service was prompt, chips were hot, guac did not disappoint; I will go back!
