I ordered from this place via uber eats so this review does not address atmosphere. I actually was very surprised how quickly they got my order. I ordered BOGO free Chicken shack with lettuce instead of bun. Every ingredient was fresh from the lettuce wrap, red onions, tomatoes, pickles. The price was reasonable, came out to $10 per stack.

Unique and delicious burgers, fries, and shakes; lots of fun options at a decent value. Black truffle parmesan fries very nice, love the truffle sauce. ‘Shroom burger is outstanding, quite big, perfectly fried, and plenty of cheese. Can’t go wrong with the Black Truffle and SmokeShack burgers as well, hearty and flavorful. Holiday-themed shakes (Christmas Cookie, Apple Cider Donut, and Chocolate Yule Log) were all fantastic, very rich!
Update 06/2025 – Fried pickles, Oreo Funnel Cake Shake, and Campfire S’mores Shake are all also great!
Update 02/2026 – Chicken and Korean chicken sandwiches are both great! Good onion rings, especially with Shack Sauce. Tiramisu and Chocolate Pudding milkshakes are both awesome, especially the Tiramisu, love the massive and crispy (soggy-resistant!) lady finger in the shake!

My Daughter loves this location and the food. We go for our mommy and daughter time. She usually gets the cheese burger, fries, and ginger ale with chocolate ice cream for dessert. I get the chicken sandwich and fries. The Christmas Cookie shake is seriously the best thing in the world. I don’t normally do milkshakes but this one is seriously worth gaining weight. The location is central to get to and the staff is friendly. It’s always busy so download the app and schedule your pickup.

Shake Shack on Virginia Beach Boulevard is an excellent spot! The food was absolutely great—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I really appreciated how smooth and efficient the ordering process was through the machine. Everything was simple and easy, and my order was delivered right to the table in a timely manner.
The seating area was also a highlight. I enjoyed the outdoor seating, which gave the visit a relaxed and comfortable vibe—perfect for enjoying a good meal. The entire place felt clean, organized, and well-managed, which made the experience even better.
Between the tasty food, efficient service, and comfortable seating, I’d definitely rate this Shake Shack a solid 10/10 on the Osiris Hotness Scale! Highly recommend it for anyone in the Virginia Beach area looking for a casual spot with great food and smooth service.

Wow! The burgers here aarrre D’licious! This was my first time going to The Shake Shake and I was very pleased. As I said, the burgers are delicious but so are the French Fries with cheese and bacon not to mention that they have, arguably, the best chocolate milkshake I’ve have had since Johnny Rocket in the Bahamas. It’s relaxing and fun. The parking was tight but that’s because apparently everyone else already knew how good the Shake Shack really is. The customer service was vintage. They care about their customers, are fast and aim to please. The bathroom could use a bit of freshening up though.

One of the cheeseburgers we ordered still had a massive chunk of non-stick paper(?) left in the burger.
I approached the manager, and while they offered to remake the food, free coupons, and a refund (we used a promotion code), they did not ask my name or order number. I refused all of those offers, specifically the refund, because the burger was partially free and the other food was fine. While I will not assume to know their process; it is reasonable to guess that without my information and because of the offers they used in our interaction, they do not intend to address the source of the problem (quality control, retraining, termination).
We may visit other locations someday, but it is clear this one lacks integrity.

We visit here occasionally when we are in the Town Center area. We always get the ‘Shroom Burger and the Hamburger. Top it all off with a strawberry milkshake. Even though they always seem busy, the wait is never that bad. And the food is so worth it. If you’ve never been, you can order at the kiosk or the counter. Kiosk has all the customizable options. If you choose dine-in, take a number, and they will bring the food to you.
Always a great time at Shake Shack!
