Hamido was recommended to me by a different restaurant owner so I dropped by and picked up a beef Shawarma. The owner was incredibly patient with me as I kept needing to request additional things from him because of my own bad planning. The food was decent, but it’s so hard to compare to everything else in Dearborn because there’s just so much Shawarma. Anyhow, A perfectly decent Shawarma at a very affordable price.

Absolutely the best rotisserie chicken not only in Dearborn but the whole US, the waiters are very friendly with a warm welcome, portions are greatly generous and prices are reasonable and fair. I drive 6 hours for this and every friend I invited was impressed.

I went to this place after almost 10 years. I ordered falafel and shawarma sandwiches. The meat in shawarma was okay, but the falafel was below average. The front manager, who sounds like he’s related to the owner, needs to learn how to be friendly with customers. He acts as if he were Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos.
Dearborn has many other better options.

They have good tabouleh, paid $28 for a large and they only 60% filled it. If I wanted the quantity they put me, I would’ve saved $10 and bought a medium. They usually are cheap with the quantities they put so I’d say this restaurant is overpriced.

Huge portions, well seasoned and delicious, light and not greasy. I had the combination shawarma over rice. I loved that the rice was not oily. Very delicious rice. The hummus was also good. The portions of meat was really good. The plate can easily serve 2 grown men. The employees were nice.

Came in to give this place a try. I was a part of a food tour of the city and this stop did not disappoint! Had the chicken shawarma sandwich( wrap) and it was fantastic. Will be coming back again to try more items.

I heard a lot about Hamido and finally had the opportunity to try it. The service is fast and friendly. The food quality is fresh and reasonably priced. For me, the shawarma was the winner. I wasn’t blown away by the rotisserie chicken. The hummus was okay but it could use a little less garlic. This place is a high volume restaurant, so you know your food is always fresh. Definitely recommend trying it if you’re in the area.

I heard a lot about Hamido’s, so in my search for the best chicken shawarma in Dearborn, Michigan, I had to try it. I ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken shawarma. The cheeseburger was good, but I didn’t like the chicken shawarma a lot. I think they’re more known for their rotisserie chicken, so I’ll give that a try next time!
