Char & Lemon’s original location is one of our favorite restaurants, so we were curious to see what their new location was like. We visited during their soft opening, and we were really impressed at how quickly the courses arrived from the kitchen. The dishes we ordered were consistent to the quality we’re used to in Oxford as well. They’ve clearly taken the time to train, because the service and overall experience were excellent! We enjoyed their pizza, pasta, garlic dip with fresh pita, and burrata special, with tiramisu for dessert. Such a great addition to the shoreline area!

Just had an incredible dining experience this evening! Food, service (Rodrigo you were wonderful!) and ambiance was spot on. The alla vodka pizza to start for the table was delicious, loved the Bucatini Limone pasta dish and S’mores espresso martini. Food and cocktails were quick with an absolutely packed restaurant, we were all impressed! Can’t wait to return ☺️

Char & Lemon in Guilford is a lovely new spot with a cute, welcoming interior that immediately sets the mood. The paccheri alla vodka is a standout: rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. Dessert is also a highlight, with great options that are beautifully done. A fantastic addition to the Guilford dining scene.

First time visiting, Char & Lemon last evening. Although it was difficult to get an evening reservation, we were happy with a 5:15 PM as it did get very crowded after that. We were seated in the bar and although kind of loud, we had no problem hearing each other, and it was a fun lively atmosphere. The service was excellent, we never felt rushed and the food arrived in good time. All of our meals were excellent, top-notch. We had a pizza for an app which was light and tasty and the perfect size to share. The chicken Milanese was the best I’ve had. The cocktails were spot on and the Chardonnay recommendation from our waiter was so good. Highly recommend but make reservations well in advance.

Char and Lemon has such a clean, inviting atmosphere! Our waiter, Rodrigo, was amazing and so attentive. My kids loved trying new foods, and we really enjoyed sitting by the window watching people walk by. Can’t wait to return!

We’re from NY & in Connecticut to go to the Clinton Premium outlets on 2/8. We found this place for dinner. We had the chicken piccata, which I’ve never had before. It was delicious! Our waitress was wonderful. The lights were a bit bright, but we had a great meal. We will definitely visit again. Thank you! See you next year!
