I ordered the beef asada tacos and there wasn’t a whole lot of meat. My husband and son ordered brisket tacos.. you pay the price of brisket but its shredded roast no brisket. The queso was very flavorless. The salsa was delicious!

I’ve passed this place for over 20 years and have always wanted to try it. The aesthetic from the outside (and inside) has always been very alluring. Finally tried it this past weekend and unfortunately left disappointed. Chips and salsa left ALOT to be desired. Chips were a bit stale and were straight from a bag. The salsa was a mild red with not a lot going on with it. The tortillas are straight from a bag as well. You can literally find better stuff at the local Walmart. I ended up getting the chipotle brisket enchiladas. They were decent, but nothing to write home about. The beans had good flavor and the rice was your pretty standard texmex fare. This place has the texmex venue look down, but fails to deliver where it matters most.

Jasmin is a Great person and friend. She and her husband are from Acapulco, Mexico. Don’t worry, they are now AMERICAN CITIZENS, so don’t mistreat them!!! They are all KIND PEOPLE their. Their food is NOT TEX-MEX, it’s authentic Mexican Homemade dishes. There’s plenty of room there including on the patio and bar and their four dining rooms. Good music.

Moved to the area a little over 4 years ago and had a hard time finding the perfect place when eating Mexican food. We thought we had found that place with Garcia’s. We normally eat there at least twice a week and our bill runs between $50 to $60 bucks for my wife and I. Let me say the wait staff is very good and professional. However, several months back the owner decided to implement a 2 bowl limit on chips and when you go over that it cost $3.95 for additional bowls. Let’s start by saying that these are very small bowls and not baskets of chips.
I have never experienced this in any Mexican food restaurant in my life. So for that reason they have lost my business for good and I respectfully let them know that before leaving the restaurant. They did not seem to really care. I guess they don’t need my $400 plus dollars every month.

I mean can I just give Garcias 100 stars!!! This food was absolutely AMAZING!! The restaurant was so clean and the service was perfect. The hubby and I went to celebrate our anniversary and we felt so welcomed. From appetizers to drinks to our food and dessert, it was all mouth watering. Now THIS is what Mexican food should be. We will definitely be making this our new family restaurant for ALL our special occasions and even just to have a nibble. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

So truthfully, I could just always be ordering the wrong thing.
I ordered the a la carte carne asada burrito, and it was very small, and wasn’t super filling. Then, we came again to give it another shot. I ordered the carne asada tacos this time, but there is almost no meat in those and no sides. For the price, still being hungry afterwards was pretty disappointing. The margaritas are good, and the chips and salsa are the best I’ve ever had in town. The fajitas look great, probably what I will be ordering if I go back, but everything else has been rather meh.
My daughter seemed to really like her kids quesadilla with fajita steak.
The servers are nice, the atmosphere is amazing. Lots of room and big tables for families.
So just, maybe, order the fajitas or something.

We just moved here and heard that Garcias was a very good place to eat. I can say that is an understatement. The food, atmosphere, and total customer experience at Garcias is one I won’t forget.
Not only is food a taste of greatness, the service from Diana Koch was extraordinary
I recommend the beef and cheese nachos, the Chili Relino Dinner and the chicken quesadillas. It’s the perfect cheese to chicken ratio in every bite! Perfectly cooked and well presented.
Diana our server made the experience whole. We appreciate her kindness, her attentiveness, and sweet nature. (Praying for your grandmother!)
Overall i give it 7 out if 5 stars. Its worth it ti stop by. Definitely will visit again!

I drove all the way from dublin tx to this place and it was so worth the drive. They were on point with everything that I cant come up with one complaint. The food was so good and the service was awsome. Best place to have a birthday dinner. God bless this place and the workers in it. Ya made my daughters birthday the best.

I went to this place today because I heard it was pretty decent. I ordered the chicken fajita lunch special to go. Upon ordering, I was asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas, I said corn but received flour when I got my food. When I opened my bag, i saw my food in a container and a bag of chips with a small container of pico. I went back in the restaurant to ask if there was any salsa to go with the chips and the lady instructed me that one should be in the bag but there was not. I ask could I pay for a side of guacamole. The lady bought me a small bag with salas and guacamole in it and said it would be an extra $3.50. I paid and returned to my car. When I opened the bag , there was a little container with guacamole in it. I was so disappointed for the size of guacamole for what I paid. The chicken was bland with little to no seasoning. The rice and beans and vegetables were the best things they cooked. I wouldn’t try this place again.
