My mom wanted to take me to lunch so we came here since it’s close to the expressway for me to get home. Also, it’s my mom’s favorite place for burgers (and in hide sight I should have gotten the burger since she loves it so much). I got the blackened shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries. They load the tacos with shrimp, which is awesome, however with the pineapple pico, the tacos literally were so wet they fell apart and I had to eat most of it with a fork. The fries were good, and the tacos normally come with kettle chips, which is a weird side for tacos, it should be a side of Spanish rice or something. I probably would not be getting those again when I come back. Our server was super nice. I do think it was some sort of seafood boil special or something when we came because a few people around us had it and it was stinky! Didn’t love that, but you can’t control what others order lol.

My wife and I have been here several times. The first couple of times we ordered fish plates, but one day we saw a server go by with a plate full (and I mean FULL) of crab legs. We inquired about where that was at on the menu and since then go in quite regularly for the 2lb crab dinner. AMAZING!!
Oh, and the staff are awesome too. Owners are on site and visit tables regularly to ensure happiness. I’d talk about their desserts but are usually too full to indulge. You have to, have to try this place.

Great place to meet with friends! Everyone was happy with their meals. I enjoyed mine also. The only downfall for me was the limited menu. With that said I had just an appetizer,I am not so much the seafood person and wasn’t in the mood for a salad. let me make sure I add though what I had was Fantastic!
Our waitress was amazing. She was busy yet still on top of it all with a smile and recommendations for everyone at the table.

I had one of the most special nights here! Our server Laura was amazing!!! She helped make my grandma’s birthday celebration one for the books!! She had placed sparkling candles on the cake in surprise! My grandma loved it!!! We all did!! Highly recommend Captin Joes, and thank you Laura so much.

We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon, and extra cheese. What we got was clearly a premade pepperoni pizza with a few bacon pieces and extra cheese thrown on top and baked again. It definitely wasn’t made fresh, and to make it worse, the pizza came out cold. Nothing about it was good.
I also ordered a cherry mule. The waiter had no idea what I was talking about and had to ask the bartender, who apparently didn’t know either. For a basic variation of a mule, that was pretty surprising.
Overall, the food was disappointing and the drink situation didn’t help. We won’t be returning.

We have been attending almost all the events at Captain Joe and it has been such an amazing experience every time. The owner comes out and checks on the guests making sure everyone is having a good time.

Stopped here to eat after a round of golf. The service was good and atmosphere seemed alright. We ordered the French onion soup, a hamburger, and fish and chips. I was told the hamburger was okay – nothing special. I had the regular fish and chips and thought they were really good!! French onion soup was also pretty good.

Kyle was our server, and he did a fantastic job! From the very start, he was helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our meal exceptional. Top notch service: Suggesting a mocktail from the bar for me, asking the kitchen about an off-menu item, taking and delivering our order 100% correctly, prebussing our empty plates, checking back with us to make sure everything was to our liking, bringing extra napkins, and finally ~ bringing me a birthday sundae complete with a giant “sparkler”! Everything was perfect! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and it was a great location. Very impressed. We will be back!

Had lunch with 2 friends yesterday – food was good. My friends love the blackened shrimp tacos. The star of our excellent lunch yesterday was our server Maggie. She displays a huge smile all the time, is absolutely friendly, pleasant and kind. She really catered to us, and paid attention to every detail. It was a very enjoyable experience in all respects. Sit in Maggie’s section! 🙂
