The tortas are SO good! It had been a few years since I’d been here but since I was in the area, we decided to stop and I’m so glad we did. Everything is amazing, and it comes out quickly! The little store attached is cute too. Wish we had one closer in Cleveland.

The food is great here. It feels authentic, but it does have staple recipes. The birria tacos are very good. Highly recommend them the chips and salsa is also good. The chips in Salsa are included with your meal. The one complaint I would have is that the margaritas seem to be a little weak. The margaritas are very sweet because of that. But I have not had a bad meal here. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The place, however, is very small, so expect a wait. There is only like 8 tables max. But you will not be disappointed here.

First time at Taqueria La Loma. Started off with a golden strawberry margarita on the rocks. My son got an ice cold Coca-Cola bottle. Then I ordered a white cheese dip to go along with the salsa. My son ordered two cecina tacos plain, and I ordered the wet burrito with pastor. This was the best Mexican I’ve eaten in Akron. I will definitely will go back and try something else on the menu.

La Loma literally saved my party. We were hosting a baby shower at the Good Year Heights Metro Park. I called them panicked cause I ran out of taco meat. They had two huge pans served up for me in less than five minutes my guests didn’t even really know I ran out! it was delicious. They were amazingly hospitable. How many places would’ve helped a girl out like that there was no notice just action 10 out of 10. Recommend them.

went for the first time and the food was so good!!! got the birria quesadilla and it was so big and flavorful, chips were yummy and the salsa was great not too spicy but perfectly seasoned and refreshing, and got the takin pineapple popsicle which i would recommend to anyone going here for the first time

First time customer and I am ready to come back every night! The service is excellent. The food is amazing! The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Parking was a little bit difficult for the dinner time, I believe because of the fact it shares with another couple of venues that are also popular.

The all time greatest leche la leche why does that Mexican Classic cake have to be so decadent that I dream about it? Only if it’s from this place now, please do not mistake this place with a pink awning/ banner This is a green sign/banner the original store with tamales that make people come from everywhere for them and for their special salsa and guacamole but nobody is allowed to make a review about it because then people will know too much. But I have to do it. La Loma is the all-time greatest.
They have the most magnificent truly Mexican street food and groceries and baked goods and remedies in their market section. It’s wonderful inside. What a treasure this place is and truly only the cool kids know about it.

Horrible Margaritas. They had way too much lime and salt. My pozole was watery and my husband got sick on a chicken dish. They have increased their prices but the quality of the food and drink has decreased..
