Best beers and food ever! Raspberry and Pineapple with habanero beer are chap for me. Hubba had regular raspberry- little sweet for him the he got the Blue Bullet Stout- taste more like coffee. The server is the best we ever had. So friendly, smile and kind lady. Did not catch her name but love her dearly!

Finally got to try this out after 26 hours of work! The Alewitch Pumpkin was beyond amazing!!!! We also tried the Cider and the Raspberry Dynamite, which were both delicious as well. We got a couple Monday night specials to snack on also. The Cajun Pork Rinds with hot sauce & a side of green chile queso, which were pretty yummy! The Wagyu Pigs in the Blanket which were small but delicious flavor!!! Lastly, tyke Frito Pie, which was ok but there was no chile on it at all, so it was odd to me, but my hubbie munched it down! Our bar tender was fantastic as well! We will definitely be back, possibly today!
UPDATE! Delicious salads as well! Went after work for a quick beer & small salad to hold me over, everything was very good yet again!

One day in November 2025. I visited this entity. Couldn’t eat anything because pork is served here and it isn’t a vegan spot. I drank one glass of Mimosa 2 ☆s.

Had the steel bender burger very delicious and it’s almost impossible to not make a mess while eating it. The stew was a little soupy for my taste but the flavor was on point. Tried the double red ipa and it seemed very light despite the 8%. Good service. No issues with anything.

We went at 6 on a Thursday and there was a 5-15 minute wait so I was happy to see they’re doing well. The Blue Corn beer was good but the large nachos were pretty underwhelming and small. The burger wasn’t seasoned so not alot of flavor at all, I like the crunchy fries they have so that was good. Definitely come for the beer, not the food.

My family and I love Steelbender. Best grilled chicken sandwich!! And I so appreciate the gluten-free bun and options; my family and I need that for dietary reasons. Food is always amazing, and the staff is really great and friendly. We also love and appreciate that the patio is open all year round with heaters in the winter. We go to Steelbender at least once a week but often much more.
It would be really awesome if they would start carrying the Athletic Golden beer so that there is a gluten-free nonalcoholic version. That would make things even better! But even without that, it’s truly one of our favorite places in Albuquerque.

I finally got to eat here I’d passed it a few times thinking it smelled amazing and I was finally able to sit down and have a dinner. It did not disappoint at all. The restaurant vibe is really fun and different from other places I’ve been. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hot dog new Mexican style was phenomenal. I also got loaded fries with it and man they were perfect. Like when I imagine a hotdog and fries this is what it is. I’ll definitely be back to try some other items.

My wife and I recently went here for the first time and it was really good.
The place was very full but we were seated quickly and the service was really good.
Started off with the pretzels, which were large, soft, and accompanied with a unique green chili queso.
My wife got a salad which was huge, and I got the fish and chips which was enormous.
The fish was not dry, and it was crispy on the outside. The fries were plentiful, and cooked perfectly.

The food here is way above average at a very fair price. The hamburgers are very delicious and a good size with lots of toppings. Chicken wings and fried green peppers also very tasty and fresh. The Kolsch beer was very authentic and true to what you would get in Germany. Great service too. I think this is one of the better places in Albuquerque.

I was at another brewery on 1/24/26 and happened to run into one of the owners of Steel Bender. He mentioned that the patio is dog friendly with great heaters and that is something I am often looking for when I am in Albuquerque. I always wanted to try this place but just hadn’t made it there. I ended up inviting my kids and grandkids and they were able to accommodate a party of 8 easily. We all had something different and everyone loved every bite. I mean almost every singe bite of every plate was finished. We had the green chile strips, Steel Bender Burger, wings, fish and chips, green chile stew, the cubano, chicken sandwich, kids grilled cheese. EVERYTHING was very good to amazing. I would say the crowd favorites were the green chile strips, the fish and chips and the burger. The entire bill was $167 and 3 people had an alcoholic drink. Prices are very fair. We were all happy and full when we left. We will be returning again soon. Thank you Steel Bender!!
