Got the Wild Boar Burger – pretty good. Chicken wings, Mac n cheese, Fried corn – also pretty darn good.

If you go here you must get the BRISKET BACON. Rivals any brisket I’ve had in Texas or Missouri. Simply scrumptious and amazing.

Waiter was really good and the lady manager with pigtails was terrific, going around to all tables and making sure all diners were content. Asked her how the brisket bacon was made and she went into detail like she was a judge on Top Chef. Really great experience all around. All staff were kind and courteous and even gave out small canned water during the short wait to get seated.

The bathroom sinks were also cool – hot/cold water levers setup like you were opening water valve shutoffs in a house .

A+++

I’ll start by saying the service was fantastic. From the minute you walk up to the front door, the staff is welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. I went in for lunch after hearing so much about it. Glad to see another wonderful bbq option in the 305. Food was good. I thought the ribs were very good. The loaded Mac & cheese was exceptional. I also enjoyed the cole slaw. The cornbread and brisket were ok. All in all, an excellent dining experience. Look forward to coming back again and trying some of the other items off their menu.

From 1 (worse) to 10 (best):
Brisket – 6
Cafecito Ribs – 8
Cornbread – 7
Coleslaw – 9
Loaded Mac & cheese – 9
Pulled pork – 6

The wait time to get a table was 30 minutes from beginning to ending, the customer service was amazing. My server Mia is assertive and very helpful. We kept getting checked on the owner even came to our table. The BBQ plates were loaded and flavorful tender ribs, juicy brisket, and rich sauces that hit every note. The mac and cheese was creamy, the elote was a standout, and the cocktails were smooth and refreshing. Generous portions, great variety, and a solid spot for a heavy, satisfying meal. I was able to take leftovers home. Every time I come to Miami, I definitely make sure to stop here. The food was amazing. By far, the best restaurant customer service I ever had our bill came up to $256(including a $30 tip). At the time of this review this was my 2nd time here.

Well, well…for a while I heard the “hype” about Apocalypse BBQ but let me tell you; is no hype. They are the REAL Thing!
Their food is so good it should be illegal.

For me, the Best BBQ in town. They put Miami in the map for great BBQ up to par with Texas, Tennessee, and St. Louis.
Do not skip the “skull” corn bread. Everything in the menu is of great quality, superb, savory, and perfectly cooked. The wings with the oro negro sauce are excellent. Not too sweet, tangy and delicious. It is a masterful coffee-infused barbecue sauce that caramelizes the meat.
Burgers on brioche bread are juicy, and extraordinary. Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs are to die for. Sides like the Mac and Cheese and baked beans so tasty.
Good selection of craft beers and cocktails. Free beer while you wait.
We waited 45 minutes to be seated and this was a Wednesday night. That shows you how popular this place is and it worth every minute of the wait.
Keep in mind that you can join in the waiting list online before your arrival.
Amicable, attentive service. I highly recommend this place.
They have a great thing going on there. Keep it up!

I’ve been following Apocalypse BBQ on social media for the last couple of years and have wanted to try it for a long time. Living in Broward, it’s not exactly right down the street, but my son and I happened to be nearby and decided it was finally time to stop in—and I’m so glad we did.
We waited about five minutes for a table, which was totally reasonable, and we were taken care of by Christian, who was an excellent server. His recommendations were absolutely on point.
We started with the variety empanadas, and they were amazing—packed with flavor and a perfect way to kick things off. My son ordered the brisket plate, and I went with the wings. From this moment on, I will be judging every other BBQ place by Apocalypse BBQ. That’s how good it was.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the skull-shaped cornbread (a must!), and just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we finished with two hot, fresh chocolate chip cookies that were the perfect ending to an incredible meal.
We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll gladly make the drive. It’s well worth it!

We love apocalypse so much we go back every other week. Food is amazing, vibe is great, and service is phenomenal. Jonathan and Helen have put us on to some awesome things we hadn’t tried before such as the chopped up brisket, brisket bacon, smokafried wings, and turkey. We liked the turkey so much we catered it.

Awesome place, will keep returning.

We come here at least once a month to get our BBQ fix.

Our most recent trip, we were helped by a great 2 person team, Mikey “Fountain of Knowledge” Alvarez was one of them and he was very funny! He had great suggestions for food pairings – like, adding the brisket into the Mac and ordering the cookies to go but adding coffee ice cream after a quick air fry. He checked on us often and was attentive to our table – always left or came back to our table with something in hand.

The BBQ is always incredible. We’ve never had a bad experience with the food. The brisket and cafecito ribs are our fave. Loaded mac, coleslaw and cornbread are honorable mentions. We recently tried the fried chicken sandwich for the first time (since it’s available fresh as per our most recent server) and it was delectable – the fresh slaw, soft buns in combination with the crispy, hot and flavorful chicken made for an amazing sandwich and honestly, probably our favorite sandwich. The burgers are near-perfect.

**I read complaints about them running out of food, yea, the food is fresh – that’s gonna happen. Aim to stop by afternoon (up until 5/6pm) or brunch (11am-4pm). You can’t come somewhere the food is made fresh for the day and be upset that the fresh food ran out.

The staff is usually friendly (sometimes it’s a hit or miss on charming server but, still good the majority of the time.) The ladies at the hostess stands are ALWAYS sweet and I do appreciate their energy. We’ve had 1 “bad” experience in the months we’ve been coming and a manager took care of us personally and was apologetic and beyond accommodating. I believe his name was Mike, but I could be totally wrong.

Anyway, love this place! It’s our go-to bbq spot ❤️

Apocalypse BBQ delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food stood out with bold, creative flavors that made every bite memorable and easily a 10 out of 10. The service elevated the visit even more; our waiter walked us through the entire menu with thoughtful recommendations, and the support staff never let a drink run low. The ambience struck the perfect balance as well. The restaurant was lively and full of energy, yet it never felt cramped or overwhelming. An all around outstanding spot that deserves every bit of recognition.

First off the service is the best I’ve EVER received in Miami and I’m born and raised here. From the time you walk in they are so welcoming and attentive. The meat was falling from my hand it was so juicy, The corn bread was okay, Baked beans aren’t sweet but they are good, the Mac&cheese was overly seasoned, but not salty. Definitely worth the hype and will go back.
