Tables covered in hair, the floor is all slippery, and worst of all we paid 30 dollars for 5 milkshakes which was fine but what we received was half a milkshake each, the girl handed to us and ran back to the back the other person closing, no where to be. Place was clean and we got our food quickly for a Saturday night. You order at a kiosk and they call your number and you walk up and get your food. You also get your own drinks. I must admit I kind of miss having the wait staff! But overall good experience.

I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, Autumn offered to help me with the Kiosk which was very kind. I sat down and immediately had my shake in front of me and my food came out a couple minutes after. Overall great experience, highly recommend! The staff was very kind, the food was great, and my shake was outstanding. Reminds me of when I was a kid.

Where I’m from our S&S closed so it was really nice to visit one again. Everything was great until we waited a few minutes at the window after getting our fries…then were asked to move forward to wait for our small shakes. Then we waited 12 minutes….for 2 small shakes?… it’s like big deal not a big deal….it was 3:48 so it was starting to see business pick up, but it seemed silly to have to wait as long as we did for 2 small shakes. But, 4 starsis still good.

A very simple order that apparently the employees didn’t understand. We ordered a basket of chili cheese fries at which the cheese sauce was not even 1/4 full and a chicken tender kid’s meal with fries. When we received our food, they placed the chicken stripe in with the chili cheese fries and we were missing the kids fry. We brought it their attention and the only response was I’ll get you your fry. I received the fry which was cold and hard. This place was definitely not worth the $18 that we paid. Shake machine was also down so no milkshakes.

Just had to stop by the steak and shake and got food for me and my child before giving the food to my child I took a bite of for fries and her chicken and all the food was hot it just tasted old still and the chicken just was very hot that she comes very hot just tastes very burnt and had this nasty taste to it the fries tasted pretty nasty and awful as well definitely would not recommend this location to anyone especially if you have children to feed the food is not eatable for children whatsoever. I visited Steak ’n Shake and placed a simple order: a bacon cheeseburger with only bacon, cheese, and ketchup, fries, a cup of cheese, and a Coke. After being pulled forward along with another car, I was given a Coke, fries with no cheese, and a plain cheeseburger.

I tried to stop the employee before she went back inside but couldn’t, so I drove back around the drive-thru. I explained that my order was wrong, but the employee insisted I hadn’t asked for bacon or cheese sauce. I know I did — in fact, I repeated my order back to her. After some back-and-forth, another staff member finally agreed to “fix it” and asked me to pull forward again. I refused since they hadn’t gotten it right the first time. Despite being asked multiple times by different employees, I stood my ground. Eventually, one person told me to stay.

Instead of resolving the situation professionally, the staff shut the window and openly talked about me as if I couldn’t hear them. When my food finally came out, it was still wrong. A lady in a blue shirt with brown hair insisted it was correct, but it wasn’t. At that point, I asked for a refund.

I was offered to speak to the regional manager, Brian. Unfortunately, he was dismissive, told me I was wrong, and handed me a refund. But instead of returning the full amount, I was only given $9.03 back. I had paid $20 in cash, yet I was left with only $17 and change — shorted money on top of everything else. To make it worse, the void receipt they gave me didn’t even match my order and showed a credit card payment, not cash.

I wasted my entire lunch break, left hungry, short on money, and completely frustrated. The lack of care, accountability, and professionalism from both the staff and management was unacceptable. Shame on this location for treating customers this way.

I have already placed a call to the district president regarding this matter, and I would appreciate a call back as soon as possible.

One dollop of cheese for my cheese fries food was cold milkshake half melted manager didn’t stay long enough to tell who’s drink belong to who and the workers are in the back no working talking and chilling the only person who looked like they were working was the guy on the grill. I hadn’t been to a Steak n Shake in probably 15 yrs because they had all gone downhill. This particular one had gotten really bad many years ago until recently when I noticed the exterior had been spruced up. Add in the beef tallow fries and I had to try again..I was impressed! There were 3 cars in front of me which used to mean you were going to be waiting 30 min…nope. I got my order and was gone within 5 min! Everyone I dealt with was friendly and polite. My order was perfect and the food was GOOD! Like how I remember it being 25 yrs ago. Yay!! Congrats on your comeback Steak n Shake!
