Matadora delivers truly authentic Spanish flavors. The paella smells and tastes like real Spanish paella — rich in saffron, well-balanced, and clearly prepared with respect for tradition. The patatas bravas were excellent, with a bold, flavorful sauce, and the chorizo was properly executed and satisfying.
The burger, however, was disappointing. The bun was noticeably dry and lacked enough sauce, which ultimately diminished the overall quality of the dish.
Dessert tip: ask for the flan — it’s not on the menu, but it’s worth it.
Unfortunately, the service was unacceptable. Our server appeared visibly annoyed from the beginning. Simple questions about ingredients or sauces were met with dismissive, almost disrespectful responses. The attitude felt condescending and made the experience uncomfortable. Hospitality is a fundamental part of Spanish dining culture, and that warmth was completely absent.
Because of the service alone, this place receives a very low rating from me.
If you’re in Massachusetts and want good Spanish food, Matadora is worth trying — but be prepared to tolerate poor service.

We had an enjoyable tapas date night here, with my date having found his most favorite Old Fashioned cocktail!
I loved the charred octopus and the buratta was super fresh.

Me and my wife and son went to this restaurant and the service was 100% great. Food was hit or miss. We ordered the Paella and it was ok. We’ve had way better Paella for cheaper. It was enough for 2 people but a little overpriced. Sangria was $14 a glass, which is pretty steep. Maybe it’s the location. We also got empanadas from the Tapas menu and they were small for $16. Compared to the huge cheeseburger with fries for $12, it didn’t add up. Tapas should be cheaper. Other than that, the place was nice. Service was great, but prices need some work.

I cannot tell you how happy I was to dine in at Matadora. From the ambience to the service to the delicious tapas, I would recommend it to one and all. Every single dish had flavor and for me to give it a 10 out of 10, it has to be excellent. Do yourself a favor and plan yourself a great night out at Matadora.

Watched a rodent during dinner service get flagged by customers and killed by an employee. We then saw many more after hours from our balcony running around the bar and dining area. Mind you the table settings are already placed for the next days service.

We were fortunate enough to be staying at the hotel here and my son had never had lobster before, so we ordered the Surf N Turf. He absolutely enjoyed and devoured his entire meal, and loved the lobster.
We also ordered the house salad and a cocktail, which was also delicious.
Thank you. Highly recommend for anyone coming to the Boston or Woburn area for a classy experience and delicious dinner.

The menu is a celebration of Spanish cuisine, with standouts like the patatas bravas—crispy on the outside, soft inside, with just the right kick—and the jamón Ibérico, which practically melts in your mouth. The grilled octopus was another highlight: perfectly tender, charred just enough, and served with a bright, citrusy aioli. Pair everything with a glass of Rioja or one of their creative cocktails and you’re golden.
