The servers are always really nice and attentive even though this place gets super busy!
Updating because I went back for lunch and had the French dip. This is now my go to for this! The meat was not dry at all and had a great flavor!

Nice quaint little spot hidden away very big biscuits gravy real good linked sausage had good taste to it. Hashbrowns and eggs made just right service was really good and plenty of parking. Pricing very reasonable.

I got the grilled chicken, my husband got the blt and both were amazing! They give a good amount of veggies for the the sandwiches! And our waitress was absolutely amazing and all the other I seen interacting with their customers seemed very on top of things and so nice! And our meals were only $24 which I personally think that’s an amazing price for how good our food was!

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. All the servers make me feel like family. My server this morning was Hallie. She is a delight, great personality takes great care of her customers. I hope the management knows what an asset she is to the restaurant. I moved to Springfield in 2015, found Cedars and been eating there 2-3 times a week ever since. I recommend Cedars to all my friends.

Our group of 4 was happy to find “real food” as a break from sandwiches, burgers, fries, and Mexican food that we’ve eaten lots of on our 15 day trip. 3 of us got a pork chop and 2 sides for about $13 each. ( You can get two chops for a few dollars more). Yummy rolls came with it with a special butter mix. We appreciated the option of a smaller portion being available. When you eat out 3 meals a day on the road, you can’t deal with leftovers. My hubby got the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, a rather large portion, but just what he wanted.
All of us were pleased with our food. The waitress was very friendly and took good care of us.

The servers are very nice and welcoming, the prices are fair. The only reason y’all didn’t get 5 stars is because the biscuits were very dry. I will give y’all an opportunity to improve to five stars on my next visit.

Food arrived cool. Had to ask the waitress to nuke my waffle. My husbands country fried steak and hash browns were cold. No apology was offered and they did not ask if we were happy with the food. Will not be back

Well priced, I had steak dinner for $11.99. Steak was cooked wonderfully, mashed taters and grave came out barely like warm.
