Service was excellent. Staff are friendly and check up on you regularly.
Atmosphere was great for personal conversations, not too loud, and I enjoyed the darker setting. My one tiny gripe here is that a soap dispenser in the washroom was out, so I’m not sure how often they review things like that.
However, my overall rating is based on the meal:
First, I don’t like to criticize anything complimentary, but the bread they serve is hard as a brick. I would just skip that.
Also, be aware that the appetizer portions are surprisingly small, so for a larger group, I would not consider them shareable.
All of the entrées were flavorful (pics attached), but our rare cooked steak seemed a little too charred on top.
Maybe I’m being picky, but for any place that charges $5.50 for a plain orange juice (my dad doesn’t drink alcohol), I must hold them to a higher standard.
I can’t say The Keg is overpriced per se, as their food is quite tasty, but there are other places that just impress me more these days.

Visited this past Saturday around 6:30pm without a reservation. Myself and my partner put our names down and then ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender was great. Greeted us within minutes of being seated and had our drinks out in under 5 minutes despite a full bar.
After a pleasant experience with the bartender, we were seated and placed our order. Our second round of drinks did not arrive until after our main course was served when I asked the waiter about our drinks. It tasted like the drinks were forgotten because the martini was no longer cold and the ice in the negroni had melted significantly compared to our first round.
Steaks were ordered medium rare, but came out a lot more on the rare side. The server did not check on us during the meal, but did check on the table beside us a few times. It looked like they were his friends.
I shared our experience with the floor manager, but other than an apology, he didn’t offer any resolution other than suggesting I call the GM the next day. I tipped 18% and I wish I hadn’t.

We came here for our anniversary dinner. Our steaks were cooked exactly as ordered and delicious. Our server – Kirk – was so pleasant and such a professional. The sticky toffee pudding was a little bit dry but still good. We will continue to come back to this location!

Our server, Lisa was superb – incredibly attentive but never overbearing.
The food was so damn good, just incredible, from start to finish.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and the seasoning and temp on both were spot on – absolutely delicious.
My partner is mainly vegetarian, but even he will cross over to the carnivore side when it comes to a Keg steak…especially the winter grill with the mushroom truffle topper!!
My only caveat is…don’t share an appetiser, just don’t. Each get your own so you don’t suffer a fork injury fighting over the last garlic shrimp…with a vegetarian.

Great! Free bread with a delish butter. The escargot were the highlight. Scallops & bacon pretty good and Caesar salad was well executed. They already pre split the salad which was so kind!

We visited The Keg Steakhouse recently to celebrate our son’s birthday and I have to say it was a complete turnaround from our first visit years ago. This time, the experience was truly memorable and that’s thanks to our incredible server Chris.
The food was great, but it’s the service that really stood out. Chris was absolutely fantastic, kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. He handled our kids’ jokes and playful teasing with a constant smile and great sense of humor. He made everyone feel welcome and added a special touch to the evening.

We came here for a birthday dinner with two young kids. We were lucky to have Damien that night. He was very attentive with refilling our drinks without asking and ensured our girls had their food first (as they get hungry as we eat our appetizers). The service was what made it a memorable night. The only thing I was hoping for was to get the happy hour menu in the dining area. The hostess told us it was only for the bar area but considering we had kids we were not going to sit there.
