I had the BLTE and it was perfect. Crunchy bacon but not over cooked, the egg was not runny nor hard.
My wife had the ginger, honey pecan salad and it must have been great because she devoured it.
I also had the broccoli cheese soup. It was very thick and creamy with just the right spices.
Service could have been a little nicer.
I’m a fan and this location on Wake Forest did not disappoint.
we ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict, farmhouse hash, and the shrimp and grits. the smoked salmon was great and the potatoes are probably the best part of the meal! the hash was delicious was well. the shrimp and grits were good but the grits could’ve used more salt for my taste. still delicious nonetheless.
i would come again to this location in the future. first watch is a great place for breakfast. i recommend getting on their waitlist to avoid long wait times too.
The menu isn’t overly packed, I would say just right. Seems much of their menu items have mushrooms, avocado and cheese. But I was able to make adjustments to my choice since I can’t do dairy and don’t like mushrooms or avocado.
Their specialty non alcoholic drinks are very nice. I had a purple haze which was made with Sweet Pea tea and Lavender.
I couldn’t finish my croissant sandwich, but I didnt want to leave it, so I brought the 2 bites home to have when the urge hit.
Avocado and French toast are much appreciated. I really recommend this and will visit soon again.
If you’re looking for great food, great people, and coffee that actually makes your morning better, this is the place. Highly recommend!
