There is a lot of variety on the menu including their own root beer, many sides, and desert. Culvers is clean and the staff is courteous. We love Culvers.
After we put together a semi-complicated order, we left out a few things. They took unbelievably good care of us, walked through the order another couple of times, and brought us some ice cream for our kids as a way of thanking us for being patient.
Culver’s is already delicious. If you love a good burger and delicious cheese, you’re already going to come here for that.
But the way Daniel, Mauricio, and Val treated us like royalty is the kind of thing that keeps us coming back. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Even if we didn’t live right around the corner, these guys make it worth a drive!
Our first time ever at a Culver’s. Used the drive through. Didn’t know what to expect so we had no expectations. Well it was awesome. My wife and I love cod sandwiches when they’re available at different chains so we tried Culver’s cod sandwiches each. Outstanding. A large portion of crispy crunchy fried cod served on what I guess was a moist dense chewy potato bun, shredded yellow cheddar, lettuce and a light tartar sauce. NOT salty. Filling and satisfying. The fries were fresh and crispy and also, NOT salty. My wife loves iced tea so she had a large unsweetened tea which they brew fresh daily. Service was next level. They have a neat system where you order at the window and are given a number. You pull up at a wait area and your order is brought to your vehicle. This cuts down on the wait times for customers using the drive through. So two cod sandwiches, one fry, one large iced tea, just under $20. Very fair pricing.
1. If you’re going to make a milkshake this thick, include a bigger straw, like a boba straw — please, I’m begging you. Getting a straw stuck on my tongue because this stuff is thicker than setting concrete, the straws are so thin they immediately collapse and suction to your mouth, and you have to wait 1+ hour before it’s drinkable is all hilariously catastrophic, especially driving back from the drive through. I just wanted a sip man.
2. Please, I’m begging you, stop over-filling the shake cups. This medium I got was so overfilled and they slapped the lid on it just like that, that all of the shake pushed up through the straw hole and got all over me, my car, my hands, pants, everything else. Leave headspace. I appreciate getting a lot for your money too, but not when all the excess ends up everywhere but my stomach in this case. Even when I got home to get the lid off, there was just sticky chocolate on everything ugh
Otherwise, great place, and I will never not love the food, including the shakes– just…please try to be considerate of your customers haha
EDIT: nevermind, the sandwich was super overcooked too, guess they’re just not on their A-game today
