Great place overlooking the beach. The vibe was awesome. We went there to grab the oyster & drink evening deal and stayed for dinner.
The oysters were AMAZING
The food not so much especially given the price!
Loved talking to the loyal locals sitting next to us and generally soakimg in the atmosphere. Could see the lighthouse in the distance too.

Had a fantastic sit down family dinner for 8 people here. Service was very friendly and attentive, the food was fresh, cooked and presented very well, and the restaurant in a nice location. We were lucky enough to have an inside table that had a very good view of the beach and the lighthouse, so just capped off a great evening.

Absolutely awesome experience! It’s been a few years since our last visit and I’m just as blown away now as I was then.
We got the the Ultimate Seafood Platter. Not one part of the dish didn’t have our eyes rolling into the back of our heads… the only heart-breaking part was that we could quite finish it! Although, we did have the option to take the left overs with us, which is awesome.
Cannot speak more highly of the servers, (special shout out to Johnny for the Happy Birthday to me as soon as we walked in, and for just being awesome!) the chefs. This place is an absolute jem.
We drove the 2+ hours from Brisbane just to go to lunch here, and we’ll do it again! So worth it

Had an amazing dinner tonight. Every dish was super fresh, full of flavour and just really well done. The whole vibe was relaxed, and the service was genuinely kind and on point. Honestly one of those meals that just feels right from beginning to end.

Beautiful welcome on arrival, amazing seating overlooking main beach Byron bay. Marloe the waiter was absolutely fabulous AS ALWAYS – so helpful with meal recommendations and wine pairing. Manager Prez, always amazing. Highly recommend- we ate the mixed grill with serving of char grilled broccolini – fresh- delicious- great atmosphere and wonderful staff. No wait time on food.

Since being in Byron this has been my go to for breakfast after a long walk on the beach. Coffee is good and the food is scrumptious. Also you can get a goodish view of dolphins swimming past. Minor complaint is that the music could be a bit quieter, but apart from that, it’s a great restaurant to sit and look at the sea

Great tasting food but the service needs improving. We were seated straight away however it took around 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. We were offered water to start which also took a while to arrive. The beer battered fish and chips was amazing, I would definitely recommend this dish. It had a generous portion size too. There is plenty of seating available. With an improvement to the speed of service, I would have rated this restaurant 5*.

Being on holidays is as great time for family to being together and eat out somewhere nice and Fish heads is on top of my list when it comes to food atmosphere and service, Raine manages the venue beautifully she is very articulate and her approach with guests are truly exceptional Raine offers a World Class service which keeps everyone coming back for more, including the wonderful Service of the other great Managers Bron Jeremy, Benjamin, Prez and Alexandra manages this place is truly amazing ! the food comes out perfect everytime, thanks to the Head Chef Conner and his kitchen team, the food is always so fresh, well presented with extremely tasty flavours, the seafood is always so Fresh and well served, Raphel is also on point as the Bar manager doing a very good job getting those delicious holiday cocktails perfect everytime, the waiting staff are very polite and friendly and the actual venue and so well set with a beautiful sea life, beachy theme. It feels like you are sitting in a dream venue overlooking the beach and the Byron bay light house. Once again , i am very impressed by Fish Heads for Breakfast Lunch or dinner and i Highly recommened this venue . Well Done, to Benjamin, Raine, Conner, Alex , Raphel, Melina, Marloe, Maree, Megan and all the wonderful Team at Fish heads, a truly World Class, premier service. I give Fish Heads a Big 5 Star Rating for thier exceptional food, kind service and atmospher that can only be felt Fish Heads byron bay. Went for a girls lunch at Fishheads, never tried there before & we were all super impressed! (This even coming from my sister who doesn’t really love seafood!) The food was absolutely delicious, so fresh & tasty & all the waitstaff were really friendly & helpful which made our luncheon all the more wonderful! We will 100% be back!
