I took my family to this place at lunch time and it was practically empty. It seemed to have one or two people working and the service was very slow.
The food was just OK. I had the sausage roll with a side of cabbage. The cabbage seemed to be seasoned with a very strong anise flavor, which honestly wasn’t that great. I’ve never had any cabbage in Ireland seasoned that way and suggest maybe not to use that again.
Just a thought.

It was Friday, January 2 at around 8pm. We came in here to have a few drinks since we were early for our show at Can Can. We entered through the south entrance and we didn’t know they were closing this part of the bar within the half hour after we sat down. The bartender said she had to close out our tab so we had our drinks and left. Apparently the north side of Kells remained open. Overall…service was ok (not friendly), drink was weak (could barely taste the alcohol), bar seating was clean and restroom was decent.

We were ravenous and decided to give Kelly’s a try. The gouda platter was really nice to share while we waited for our entrees. I thought the Shepherd’s pie had a generous portion of beef and I liked the side of cabbage. It was slightly bland but it was overall decent!

Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and felt like a comforting homemade meal. We had the Reuben sandwich (with juicy house-made pastrami), the sausage roll, and a traditional Irish lamb stew — each cooked to absolute perfection.
But it didn’t stop with the food! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and for dessert, we were served a heavenly whiskey cake — warm, with a hint of orange — alongside tea, which came with free refills!
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience in Seattle.

Really well located bar. Clean, lots of beers and food on offer. Bar man was a nice guy. Seemed to do a good lunch time trade with folks coming in for the Man U vs Everton game (Feb 23rd – which I was there for). About $10 for a pint of Guinness. As a Dubliner in town with work, I found the temperature of the Guinness to be too cold. Not much settle time before the 2nd pour. All in all, no dome in the head but lots of bubbles – not at all creamy. All in all though a good spot.

Went here on St.Patricks day and it was everything I hoped it would be. The atmosphere was great and the staff very welcoming. I tried shepherds pie for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. I also discovered non alcoholic Guinness and that was perfect. Wonderful experience.

We sat in the outside patio area which was nice on the super warm day we went. The ambiance was relaxing and we could hear the live music from next door at the tasting room. Our waitress was super attentive and really friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the baked Brie that came with soda bread and fruit. My husband had the flat-iron that was cooked perfect and I had the seafood pasta that was fresh and full of flavor. We each had a beer that was just as good as the food. We will definitely be back and would totally recommend the place for a laidback dining experience.

The best Irish pub in Seattle! Having been to Ireland I know what an Irish pub should feel like and this is it! Everyone is lovely and welcoming, including the guests! And the food is wonderful! Pro tip, buy tickets to their St. Patrick’s Day block party! It’s a blast every year!!
