Steaks here are fairly inexpensive ($30-$40) and quite edible, although dedicated and experienced steak lovers may find the meat quality a bit lacking, with a certain amount of sinew and fat. Nevertheless, the restaurant’s dishes are prepared with love and professionalism (we tried the mushrooms in sauce and the Ribeye and Outlaw Ribeye steaks, both medium rare), and the service is prompt and respectable. Cocktails and whiskey shots are around $10, and there’s a selection of beer and wine. The average bill for a steak dinner ranges from $80 to $200 for two people.

I am so angry right now. I went to LongHorn Steakhouse on City Avenue planning to dine in, but the moment I walked inside, it felt like I had stepped into a concert venue. There were people everywhere—standing, sitting, and complaining. Ironically, the dining area itself looked relatively empty, with plenty of open tables, while the waiting area was packed like sardines. Seeing that chaos, I immediately decided to order takeout instead. Even then, I ended up waiting more than 35 minutes for a salmon Caesar salad. While I was waiting, I met two women—one from Ardmore and the other from the city—who had ordered online and had already been waiting nearly an hour just to pick up their food. The funny thing is, I’ve made this same salad—salmon Caesar—at home before, and it turned out pretty good. Some days I’m just lazy and don’t feel like cooking. Aiiiight, okay… the truth is I can’t really cook like that, but I can cook well enough to feed myself (see attached photo). Either way, I’m done with LongHorn Steakhouse. There’s no reason a place should be run this poorly. I absolutely despise bad customer service, and today they delivered exactly that. #NeverAgain #DoBetterDardenRestaurants

Although they still took customers up to closing time, may have had a better experience earlier in the day. The wait was about 20 min. Just seemed rushed and the food was ok was on the bland side, didn’t compare to another location I ate that had me craving for the salmon meal. The appetizer was hot and fresh.

I had my 10 year old daughter there and 2 runners i guess they were was talking about girls and cussing. They were making my daughter feel uncomfortable . I had to wait over an hour to receive my food. Once I got my food the mash potatoes were cold and so was the broccoli. I had to ask them to take it back to reheat. It was no wait time to sit but food wasnt leaving the kitchen fast enough.

THIS IS A GOOD READ!!
This was, without question, the worst restaurant experience I have had in my 30 years of life.
Our waitress was clearly untrained and completely unprepared to work the floor. We were never offered water. No utensils were brought to the table. No straws. No basic table setup whatsoever. The only time we saw her was when she took our order and when she eventually brought the food out — and even that took an unreasonable amount of time.
For context, I was fasting all day and specifically chose Longhorn Steakhouse to break my fast at 7 PM. I was genuinely looking forward to this meal. We waited 45 minutes just for an appetizer. Then another 45 minutes for our entrées. Drinks took just as long. The entire experience felt disorganized and chaotic.
I remained patient because at that point, I just wanted the food to be correct. After waiting that long, the least you can expect is accuracy. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, it was wrong.
At that point, there was nothing left to salvage. Slow service. No attention to the table. Long waits. Incorrect food. And management nowhere to be found.
The manager never once came to check on our table. A simple “How is everything?” could have made a difference. Instead, there was no visible leadership on the floor and no sense of urgency anywhere in the restaurant. The kitchen, bar, and wait staff all seemed completely disconnected.
This location is poorly managed and severely lacking in basic service standards. I would strongly recommend driving to another location or choosing a different restaurant entirely. The experience was disappointing from start to finish.

This is my second time eating here. First time eating there were no problems. Second time the service was a bit slow. When it came time to pay the girl with blond braids and her jacket said “certified trainer” on it took my card and swipe it. She gave me two receipts back but didn’t give me my card back. She walked off. I immediately noticed and got the attention of another employee and told her that I didn’t get my card back and can you tell the girl that. I was standing watching them. Felt like it was weird. I will be watching my transactions. Not sure if this happened to anyone else.

Honestly, we’ve stopped bothering with steak. Because the appetizers, the shrimp, the mushrooms, and their chicken are just too good on their own.
Only downside to the place is that it’s so good that if you don’t rush – or call ahead – then the wait time to be seated may be frustratingly long.

The Parmesan encrusted lamb chops are so great. The rest of the food was just good or okay. I’d definitely return to try some other options, however the service left quite a bit to be desired. Slow and slightly inattentive.

First time here. Food and service were great. We arrived about 430 on a Saturday and I was surprised how busy it was. We only waited 15 minutes for our table but thereafter it got really busy. A little too loud for our taste. People allowing their kids to scream and holler while you’re trying to enjoy your meal and have a conversation. Adults talking so loud as if they are in a club instead of a restaurant. Next time I think we will visit during the week.
