Had a family Valentine’s Day brunch here and it was delicious! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. 5he place is casual and has nice Columbian decor. We made reservations but they are not required. We stayed almost 2 hours and were not rushed. We were 5 and ordered two arepa avocado toasts, steak and eggs with an additional order to go,, another arepa dish and chicharrones with fries. We each had a cocktail and they were perfect. Total was almost $230. Great food, great service, good value, and great atmosphere.

Always love the food! The servers are very attentive & friendly. The music makes me want to get up & dance! The mural is on the wall is absolutely beautiful! I’ve been there at least four times & I always bring someone new to spread the word!

Their Picada Columbiana is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, if for the sheer variety of meats. The morcilla/blood sausage in particular was great. Come with a party and enjoy.

Empanada were delicious. We had shrimp, chicken, steak, and guava/shrimp to share. That could have been a meal for me actually! I ordered the breakfast latino (arepa, white rice, black rice, Madison, queso Blanco, 2 eggs, and salad) and hubby had Colombian breakfast (scrambled eggs with chives and tomatoes, pork rice, arepa, grilled queso Blanco), cafe con leche, pineapple juice, and mango juice. All was scrumptious!

I tell my son that we need a soup like my mom soup today!

Then I was looking for something like really make me feel as at home! We finally finished coming and find the best Colombian representation about test and presentation! Edwin help us with courtesy and excellent knowledge about our entries. The ajiaco five stars and the dessert just show us pasión and love from the chefs. Thank you

I highly recommend this place

This place is really a hit or miss, you either have the best meal or the worse. If you order something once it may taste phenomenal, and this goes for food and drinks, but order it again and it’s like they tweak the recipe or sub the ingredients.

I wish they would keep the food fresh and the drinks standard, but there has to be a chef and bartender there that likes to switch things and up and mess them up in the process.

Oh and never ever order to go from this place they give you the worst version of their food. Sit down and buy it, hell sit down and ask for to go boxes if you have to, but save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of the to go fries, they’re soggy and tacky.

Incredible. Took a visit to Brooklyn today and was thoroughly pleased with our good stop last night. The second you walk in you’re engulfed with culture and passion.

The music, decor, and staff were exactly what you’d want when going out to eat. The efficiency of getting and food and drink out promptly was a highlight of their service. Our waiter was also personable and knowledgeable.

The food was remarkable (pictured below). I had the plantain encrusted chicken with sweet plantains and yellow rice as my side and thoroughly enjoyed. As a group we shared the chicken, steak, shrimp and birria empanadas which were extraordinary.

I can’t see myself visiting Brooklyn too many times in the future, but if I find myself in town, I’ll surely stop back at Bogota Latin Bistro.

I was most impressed by their colorful, creative artsy decor. I tasted each plate and they were all delicious and plentiful! Although the space is very big, I loved their enclosed patio that does works well as a private setup for large groups, private events or additional seating. The atmosphere is casual, trendy and quite cozy! The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating!

Stopped by for dinner. The food was great and the cilantro mashed potatoes were binge worthy. The drinks were way overpriced. And the service was subpar. we were maybe one of two or three tables in the entire restaurant and we barely saw our waiter and had to wave him down multiple times.

We had a fantastic dinner at Bogota Latin Bistro! From the moment we sat down, our server, Angel F, made us feel welcome and kept the energy upbeat without being overbearing.
The food was outstanding — we ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Steak Skirt Bandeja Paisa was juicy and tender, with generous portions. The Rotisserie Chicken Bandeja was equally delicious, and the Picada Colombiana was a perfect shareable plate full of rich, authentic flavors. Drinks were on point — from the Colombian Mojito to the refreshing Virgin Frozen Colada and Peligroso Peach, each was well-balanced and worth the price. Tito’s vodka cocktails were also nicely made. The atmosphere felt warm and lively, perfect for a night out with friends. The portion sizes were more than satisfying, and the overall value was fair for the quality and amount of food we received. Highly recommend if you’re in Brooklyn and craving authentic Latin flavors with great service. The downside is why my coworker order a takeout and she got charge 20%? That’s a downside. That should be done. We’ll definitely be back!
