The quarter dark and big wings are very tender, juicy, crispy and yummy! The thigh is less juicy so I won’t recommend it. I saw a lot of local folks here during lunch time. It must be a good place to visit if you are craving for fried chicken!

This was my first time here, and I’m now a fan. There are other spots to get hot Nashville chicken, and Joalla’s does it really well. I like that you can pick the spicy level, and I got the hot, which was good, but I’ll go spicier the next time. The sandwich was really good, and the mac and cheese was solid. The service was fast and friendly.

Bottom line: This may very well be the best hot chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!! Decided to try this place after craving some chicken. Went when they opened and received quick service from a pleasant staff. Ordered the “Big Classic” chicken sandwich, once with the “Tweener” heat level and once with the “hot” heat level. First off, it’s a chicken thigh instead of a chicken breast which makes it so much more flavorful and juicy! It is also a good size thigh that’s breaded enough to give you a crunch as you bite into it, but not so much that it takes away from the actual chicken. It’s coated nicely in the heat level sauce you choose and is not over powering. The Tweener is great for someone who wants to eat a hot chicken sandwich without it being too spicy with heat. The Hot chicken sandwich is great for those that enjoy spicy food but don’t want to feel it burn going down (or coming out) . The heat is subtle at first and sort of sneaks up as you enjoy the sandwich. It leaves you wanting another sandwich after you finish which may be why they have a reorder line next to where you place your original order! The fries are okay in my opinion, they are super small and skinny sort of like Freddy’s or Steak N Shake fries, but they aren’t bad, just not my preferred method. Do yourself a huge favor and visit this place for some good chicken! Prices are very fair and even cheaper then some other chicken sandwich restaurants in the area. Next time I will get the Ghost Pepper heat level chicken sandwich and a couple of jumbo tenders with Mac n cheese. Will update after consumption. Cannot wait

First time here. I ordered Ella’s fav. The lunch special came with two chicken tenders, a side, and a drink. The tenders were small and salty. I don’t know if it was from the flavor or what, but they were salty. I ordered collard greens and received green beans. If the tenders were a little bigger, I probably would have had a better experience. Would I go back, ♂️

We also had the wings of varying degrees of heat which were temperature hot and fresh and tasty chicken and waffles were good with a (?)maple butter that our son enjoyed, pickles were hot and tangy, and the Mac was good (usually we have found Mac at most places not to be as good as home Mac, but this was good). As an fyi (depends on how you like them), the wings are breaded and fried, not just fried.

I ordered a cod platter with fried pickles as side. First the pickles were drowning in grease. I got 2 whole tablespoons of oil out of the bottom of the container. The fish wasn’t fried with the right type of batter. Hard as a rock. Won’t go back. They have gone downhill.

Love the fried chicken thighs because they’re boneless! The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Staff is usually friendly. They also have country boy beer. I recommend the cougar bait.

Food was hot and delicious. We had 1 side thatwas not great, the manager quickly rectified the issue and even provided a complimentary dessert which the kids loved. We will be back, good service is rare these days.
