Meat was succulent, and dripping with juice, surrounded by shatteringly crisp skin and crunchy breading. The drizzle of honey contrasted beautifully with the savory bird. This is not fast food, but my order was presented in under 10 minutes (at dead Noon.)
Tots are large enough to share. I’m really not a fan of Tots, but these were fresh and hot from the fryer without being the least bit greasy.
And also, unlike fast food, I was asked how everything was, and I’m certain that if there were an issue it would have been rectified.
Since the Grog, a block away took fried chicken off the menu, a gap has been filled. Different audience, but every bit as good as the Fishtown shop with MUCH easier parking.
Just a heads-up: the Nashville chicken is quite spicy. I loved it because I like spicy food, but my friend thought it was really hot.
They fry everything to order, not ahead of time, so it takes about 15–20 minutes. If you want your food faster, I recommend calling in or ordering online first. The staff is very friendly and the place is super clean. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Kudos to the tater tots, again super crispy and tasty. In a world of fried potatoes that are soggy or taste bad, these are a shining beacon.
Highly recommend for any fried chicken lover.
Love & Honey Fried Chicken is a standout in Bryn Mawr. The chicken is perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My personal favorites are the chicken tenders and the tater tots — both are cooked perfectly and seriously addictive.
The honey drizzle adds the ideal sweet touch without overpowering anything. The staff is friendly, the space is welcoming, and everything feels thoughtfully done. If you’re nearby, this place is an absolute must-try.
The chicken was juicy all the way through, with a loud, crunchy exterior that actually stayed crisp. A touch of honey on top added just enough sweetness to balance the seasoning without turning it into dessert. You can tell this isn’t rushed or mass-produced food, but even so, my order came out surprisingly fast for lunchtime.
The tater tots were another pleasant surprise — big portions, freshly fried, and not oily at all. I usually pass on tots, but these were worth eating.
Service felt genuinely attentive. Someone checked in on us, and it didn’t feel scripted — more like they actually cared how things were going.
With fried chicken no longer an option nearby, this place fills that void easily. It attracts a different crowd than the Fishtown spot, but the quality is right there, and parking is far less of a headache.
