The staff was friendly, but they were backed up And there were more than a several people Waiting for food orders. A few orders that went to customers ahead of me Were actually wrong, so that made them wait even longer as well as myself. My food was beyond recognition and beyond being Edible. I wish I would have checked my food before I left Because I would have definitely asked for my money back. But unfortunately, I drove to my hotel and was too tired to return back to the restaurant, So nevertheless, I went to bed hungry because the food was not fit enough to eat.

I out of town from Texas and we don’t have a Bob Evans. My family and we’re excited cause we’re originally from Ohio and waited to go but when we walked in and saw a line of people and a lot of empty seats that should’ve been a red flag. We gotten seated and order was taken, waited 35 min for cold food, no authority figure ard just people running ard. I used to love Bob Evans, now I’ll never be back

Worst service ever!! Staff running around like they have no idea what they are supposed to be doing. Left waiting to be seated with no acknowledgment. Server was upset that people were placed in his area. Was not friendly and very dismissive. Was nasty when he came up and asked what we wanted to drink like the fact that we were breathing irritated his soul. After we got our food and gave us the check he completely stopped coming to our table and we had to flag down other people to get to go boxes. Whole experience was horrible. Took our 75 year old neighbor out for her birthday and this is where she wanted to go. Sadly if we go to Bob Evans again we will go out to Middleburg Heights or Brunswick for proper service. If I could give Independence Bob Evans a negative star I would. So sad! Used to be a good location. Poor management for sure!

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the only guests waiting to be seated (party of 3) around 5:30pm on a Saturday and waited over 15 minutes without a single acknowledgment, despite multiple employees standing behind the counter and looking in our direction.
When we asked if we could seat ourselves, we were told no, but no one followed up to help us. We ultimately left without being seated. There were only about 3 or 4 other tables with guests in the entire restaurant.

We ordered takeout on December 22 for brunch on December 24 th 2025. Pickup was scheduled for 9:45 AM. My guests were arriving at 10:00 .We received an email in the morning reminding us about our scheduled order.We arrived at 9:45 and were greeted by a line of 7 guests ahead of us waiting for takeout orders.There were food orders sitting in the pickup window by the kitchen. There was no employee attending the pickup station. The hostess was seating walk-ins as we waited and ignoring the line waiting to pickup orders. At 10:30 our 9:45 order was still not ready so we left. We looked at the slips on the food in the window and found they had been scheduled for a 9:00 am pickup. They were 90 minutes behind getting orders done. We disappointed that management did not reassign an employee to the takeout station. Management ruined our brunch and I’m not going to accept, the standard excuse, “ we had call offs or we were short staffed”. Management should have known about the volume of take out orders and adjusted staffing. SHAME ON YOU.

I love Bob Evans I haven’t eaten there in years due to us not having one close to Georgia where me and my husband live. We had a good experience with the food and service. However there was a lady who is homeless, and dealing with mental health issues she began screaming and yelling, and saying things about black people that made my husband very uncomfortable. I was ok being that I work in the mental health field. I know it was hard for him. The staff tried to calm her down, but she was having a manic episode , and was uncontrollably.
