This shop opened on November ’15 in downtown Bentonville and features a bar designed to watch the production of all our drinks. The bar is composed of tiny white hexagonal tiles completed with equipment that’s all under-counter. A walnut grill is suspended above the bar. Concrete, oak, & drywall make up the various walls. It features local beer on tap and a tasty toast program. Interested in our meeting room? Swing by the store and sign up using the reservation book, found in the room.

Can get pretty busy and hard to find space on the weekends nonetheless but good place to lock in. Great studying or work-from-home spot with good outlet access (see pictures!) there is also a huge meeting room you can rent out. Surprisingly food for a cafe was good. I loved my drink, it was a fall special and the burger/sandwich was delicious too. Cheers to a great spot!

It’s been a dream to come to an official Oynx cafe and it was wonderful! The layout was open and welcoming. Love their seasonal fall menu- I decided to have the black sesame maple espresso and the vegan egg focaccia. I enjoyed the chill temperature of the drink. It was smooth and flavorful. The focaccia was nice and warm- so filling and delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more and get some souvenirs. Cheers!

The coffee is great. If you’re looking for a very cool vibe and loud atmosphere coffee shop this is your place. It is very cool decor but the seating is more hard structures prompting you to have a short visit. There is outdoor seating if it’s not raining that is covered for shade, but not enough cover for rain. The bar area where they’re making the drinks takes up over half of the small space so there’s very little sitting area. But if you’re a college kid, this is your vibe.

Listen, I don’t drink coffee, but I went and got their hot chocolate with a friend this past week and it was one of the most incredible things I’ve had. It’s on the darker side of chocolate which I personally love. The vibes also of the whole place were great and the staff is so friendly. Onyx Coffee Lab in Bentonville is outstanding! The service was fantastic—Sarah was especially awesome, making the experience feel warm and personal. I ordered a Cortado, and it was incredibly smooth and velvety, served with a classy sidecar of sparkling water that elevated the whole presentation.
This is easily one of the better coffee shops I’ve visited. They also have an excellent selection of drinks and plenty of high-quality beans to take home. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

We visited the downtown square store. It’s huge and beautiful, like a Perth coffee straight out of a memory. It was very busy, and we had to queue to order.
We ordered two seasonal specials:
tiramisu fomo (less sugar)
fig citrus nitro tonic
Both were delicious. The tiramisu was a bit like a mocha, with a wonderfully fragrant blend of coffee and cocoa, plus some yummy thumbprint cookies. The nitro tonic was like an upgraded version of an orange soda Americano, and the fig burst in your mouth when you bit into it.
I really hope they’ll open a branch in Tulsa.

Here after Christmas, and their seasonal….all ELF themed!!! I didn’t get it, but my SIL got Seven Levels of Candy Cane Forest and said it was amazing. I got Hail Fellow Well Met and it was perfection. First sip was salty carmel and then the browned butter, just amazing. The shop was full to the brim with people trying to escape the cold, but it wasn’t loud. The counter was probably my favorite with the white tile and the coffee taps.

A refined coffee experience. They have some experimental flavors but also provided sweet and savory drink options. The onyx delight was my favorite drink there.
The atmosphere is business casual, sophisticated but social. The plant accessories and large windows really allow the environment to be enjoyable.
Overall a really TRENDY but nice place to get coffee.

I am a local who religiously supports our local coffee roasters. I go to the onyx in Bentonville 3-4 times a week since I work on the square. The coffee is delicious. Never in all my days have I experience such terrible service from this coffee house which is incredibly disheartening. I will no longer be a supporter of Onyx. Nor will I recommend/direct others to support their business after today’s experience. I will instead direct them to Airship.
Today I was charged for a 16oz coffee the taller of the two in the picture. I went back to Onyx to get a refill as I usually do. When trying to discuss this matter with one of the mangers and an associate. They were completely dismissive of charging me extra and giving me the smaller size. Like they were in disbelief even though I was ready to show them my bank statement and had proof of the smaller cup in my hands. Instead of leading with moral fortitude and righting this wrong. The management still thought it to be appropriate to charge me for my refill. They were even hesitant to give me the larger cup that I had already paid for.
So not only did I have a terrible customer service experience I missed my 32 fluid ounces of daily coffee and was only given 28. I paid for 6 fluid ounces I did not receive! Now some might think this to be silly, but I again find it disheartening. I drink coffee like a Gilmore girl. But you won’t catch me supporting or recommending this local brand again.
