Recent trip through Pittsburgh stopped into this restaurant for dinner. Food was good, salad/fruit bar was great, service could have been better. Server was slow to check on table and never got a refill during dinner, had to ask for one when the check came.

Adorable spot, sweet decor, nice waitstaff, the cookie man was cute, but the food was a disappointment. The burger was just a McDonald’s type burger and the perogies tasted like generic frozen fair. The milk shakes, however, were fantastic. Good prices.

Food was good. We got it to go and it was fine mostly. The service took a while to get the food. The best was the price. This place was priced right!! Very affordable, especially for a family. Our family of five ate for under $40!! That’s unheard of!

Ordered a piece of Cookies n Cream pie earlier. I’m not the type to try & return food but the size of this piece of pie is somewhat humorous. When my bf tried to return it & purchase a WHOLE pie for ONLY $10 more, the girl at the counter asked the manager & they said they can’t accept returns of unsealed food. What a joke

Literally the worst restaurant experience of my entire life. We wanted to go for breakfast before a show and we had an hour and a half to kill. I should have known from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess completely ignored us upon walking in the door. She was ringing up a customer so it was no problem. Someone behind us walked in the door and went straight to the cash register and she completely ignored us yet again and took that customer. Finally she came over and told us there would be a 5 minute to 10 minute wait. We said no problem and were seated like 7 minutes later. It was obvious they were short staffed. So we decided quickly what we wanted so we could get our order in as soon as possible because we knew it would be a decent wait. Over 30 minutes later, we still did not get our food. 4 tables that were seated after us got their food. What put us over the edge is a table of 7 or 8, who were seated 10 minutes after us got their food. We started putting on our jackets as soon as this happened and our waitress yelled over to us that your food is on the window, that she was just helping with the large table, who she was the server for. She asked us if we wanted the food and my husband responded go get it. We proceeded to wait 3 more minutes and it still didn’t come out. That is when we walked out. Do not waste your time on this place. Awful, awful service. Go to the Dunkin down the street because you will get much better service.

When getting takeout, whip cream on the side is amazing. Perfect waffle or pancake each time. Ordered pretzel bites with cheese but had to throw them all away because they were rock hard completely burnt. Disappointed. But they were proud to serve the food so that’s good. Great customer service.

I used to love this location. They were always spot on with their food and service. However, the last few times I’ve gone it has been horrible. Food has been cold, my kids waffles burnt and hard, my favorite potato pancakes soggy and very flat, and have even missed parts of our order. I’m very saddened this location has gone down hill. I hope they fix the food quality soon.
