Burger joint featuring diverse toppings, microbrews & karaoke nights in rock ’n’ roll–themed digs.
Saphira Melon
This was my favorite Burger Joint in Portland. For various reasons. The vibes are immaculate, epic street mural art all over the walls, so much retro and rock type stuff everywhere. The electric guitar table is iconic, and the shakes and burgers are delicious. It even has a little karaoke type stage in the corner for a small band to play I reckon.
I’ve been meaning to make a review for awhile, but recently had an unpleasant interaction with whomever runs their social media so I figured I’d make it now.
I’m anxious about even going into the establishment. I know it may seem “small” to some, and I recognize that the individual who runs their social media does not reflect the behavior and conduct of those who work there. But I’m a timid individual who hates conflict. I go to places like this to unwind, not to receive a passive aggressive comment on my personal page for making a comment whilst scrolling. A comment that was not meant as a personal attack yet was treated like one. Im hoping to clear up whatever happened to warrant such a response towards an active customer. I wanted to spend my 24th birthday here, and recommend the place to others. So now I’m just sad. As I would want to continue to go to this establishment, but now I have a sour taste in my mouth. I encourage the social media person to make amends, as this feels like immature conduct. I want to give this individual the benefit of the doubt. But for now I’ll take my business elsewhere until this conduct is addressed. I’m nervous about even posting this because I just want to express my experience, not receive another passive aggressive response. Best wishes

Every single time we come here it gets better. How that is possible, I don’t know. Super bummed one of my camera lenses is shattered because I just couldn’t get a picture that matched the beauty of what we had in front of us. We ordered the weekly special can’t remember what it was called, but it had ingredients I would never in my life think of putting on a burger. Ham.. pineapple glaze… The whole thing was phenomenal, but we added fresh jalapeños to everything. And then we got backyard animal I think it was which was a cross between two burgers. And then finally, we got the appetizer platter. Definitely not needed(we’re STUFFED) but we’re not mad.

This place consistently shows up as one of the top three locations in Portland for a burger stop, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Notice: these guys have big flavors in their food, to some its desired for others I could see some caution. I’m big into flavor so I loved it, I had the Brickhouse, and it was delicious! Art is on the walls in graffiti style and rock music plays endlessly, fun atmosphere and the gentleman on the floor tonight wore big grins when I told them how great it was, the definitely do a great job and it shows!

This spot is awesome! I got the jalapeno burger and my friend got the brisket burger. We were both blown away by the delicious flavors. They have a special burger of the month, kickass music, and some super cool murals on the walls. We will be back for sure. Thanks guys!

I’ve been to Portland Burger multiple times, and I always have a great experience. I like their impossible patties, which can be substituted for any of their burger options. My husband goes the traditional route, and he says they’re always cooked to perfection. We just happened to stop in last Thursday during National Burger Day and had the Classic Rock burger, which was on special. Fantastic as always. The most difficult choice is whether to get the onion rings or tater tots. This time we did one of each and shared. Solid choice!

We visited here recently on a trip to Portland and it was well worth the visit. The burgers, myself and the family ordered was lovely and tender, so they ended up just melting in your mouth. We ordered a large portion of fries and that was enough to feed 3 of us. If you are in the area, and you like burgers, its worth dropping in.

Portland burger has definitely not been getting the recognition it truly deserves!! From the amazing burgers and sides all made fresh and hot, the restaurant itself is a gem with tons of artwork and cool nic nacs and is just a walk away from the improving Portland waterfront, also Justin I hope I’m spelling his name correctly, went above and beyond making sure we had the best experience at Portland Burger

The burger was so delicious and cooked like I like it. When I ask for well done with no pink that’s what I want & that’s what I got. It wasn’t dry and had loads of flavor! Loved the decorations too!
