We have been going to the purple parrot for years, for drinks and entertainment, always a great place when in Rehoboth Beach, we have recently heard about their food and specifically their crab cake. And let me tell you it did not disappoint
Sunday night is their prime rib night and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked very tender and their crab cake was amazing. I’m looking forward to going back and trying some different food.

Sat over looking the walkway. Lively place. Good deal on beer on Saturday. $5 for Greman beer. Large glass. Out sandwich was really good and the snitzel special.

Love this place! Great karaoke, fun staff, decent food (for a bar). We love coming here. Even if you don’t sing, karaoke night is always entertaining. It does get a bit loud – so bring ear plugs if you’ve got sound sensitivity.

The atmosphere was laid back and had a beach vibe. It was a good mixed crowd. The menu is a basic bar and grill at reasonable prices. We had the Impossible Burger and Cheese Steak. My partner really enjoyed the Impossible Burger and said is was very good. The Cheese Steak was just okay. It was frozen shaved steak. There was plenty of mushrooms, though. Overall, for the price, if you’re just looking for a quick inexpensive bite in a laid-back atmosphere, then I recommend the Purple Parrot.

This place reminds me of college but without the good drinks. The menu looked promising so we decided to give it a try. The crabby tots had zero crab meat and were loaded with cream cheese and artichokes and the carb balls tasted like burnt grease. The only thing that worked was the steamed shrimp. The waiter was very helpful and nice.

This place is very cool inside. The bartender was awesome. I had the blue cheese burger it was delicious and it was a good size. My friends had other things like crab balls which were done perfectly. And the giant pretzel which was very tasty.

The food here was insanely good. We just got a few apps but the seafood was probably the best I’ve ever had. Shrimp in the tacos was delicious and cooked to perfection. The crab tots were also out of this world, cant wait to visit again and try everything else

Will I do somethin strange for a little bit of change, probably not. But, I just might for their fish tacos. They were so good! So much flavor, not greasy, just flat out amazing! Oh, their Pina Colada’s, yeah, getchu one because I promise they’ve got the best. This place is a whole vibe! I was visiting but cannot wait to come back!
