Big Guy’s BBQ Roadhouse in Hudson, WI has been a local favorite since 2015, proudly serving Hudson, River Falls, Baldwin, New Richmond, and surrounding areas. We offer a wide range of experiences including wine, craft beer, happy hour, daily specials, catering, live music, ladies night, line dancing, and more. We are currently open for dine-in, curbside pick-up, delivery, and takeout. Our kitchen hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 11 AM to 11 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 8 AM to 10 PM. Was so happy to finally make it in I e seen this place multiple times while walking the dogs and always wanted to stop but not sure if dog friendly. Lunch on a Friday at 1130 there was no wait for seating. My bartender/server was Jen and she did a great job and makes a mean ol fashioned. This is a really cool Wisconsin sports bar! Packers, badgers, trophy bucks, fishing decor, motorcycles just a cool place. Pin ball machines and other games as well. Since I was alone I did the coconut mahi mahi with sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. They were all fantastic! Great spot and worth checking g out! If dog friendly would live to be back for bob Marley birthday party!!!

For our first visit ever all the way from Tennessee we very much enjoyed this Wisconsin treasure we had the brisket sandwich the barbecue beans the mac and cheese which was absolutely top-tier phenomenal also had the skillet potatoes which were a bit dry but that’s okay if you could just sauce them up I recommend the tangy sauce not the spicy! It was fun hearing all the raffles seeing the high school going around and selling their tickets for their shooting team and getting a feel for the locals talking and getting to know people we had a very nice visit! Nice to meet everyone we met and a special thank you to Olivia who really took care of us at the bar! Additionally you could easily eat on the $20 to $30 per person range we were just celebrating and chose to spend a little more I highly recommend the raspberry cheesecake martinis and the barbecue beans and brisket sandwich and again the macaroni was like the star! This was just a very fun place with exquisite food and even though we didn’t have a reservation because we didn’t know we needed to the people up front were very nice and let us go right to the bar! We wanted some food but arrived too late, so I can’t review the food. The restaurant is huge!! Great place to party and have a great time. Live bands and outdoor tents = fun. The service was good. We’ll be back to try the BBQ!

On our way back from vacation, we were really in the mood for some classic BBQ, so we did a little research and found a spot with pretty good reviews. The vibes seemed promising when we walked in, but that’s where the positives die. We were seated at a dirty booth that we had to clean ourselves, and there were flies landing on us. We ordered a pound of brisket along with mac and coleslaw, and while the food arrived quickly, it looked pretty unappetizing. The brisket was DRY/TOUGH and chewy, with thick hard chunks of fat, while the mac was served cold. Both slaws were sad, especially the classic one, which had an odd fishy taste. It’s a shame because we really wanted to enjoy some good BBQ, but this place just didn’t deliver. Our service was okay but nothing that could have saved the experience.

Another amazing spot I keep coming back to — and I can’t stop telling my friends about it! If you’re craving BBQ, this is the place. The half platter (pictured) has it all, and I’m drooling just writing this review. The cornbread with honey butter sauce is unbelievably good, the brisket is juicy with that perfect smoky flavor, and the Asian green beans are my absolute favorite. The candied bacon is sweet, smoky, and thick — just the way I like it. And the beans… well, I’ll just stop there. I happily drive 1.5 hours to eat here. Highly recommend 100%!

Great BBQ restaurant with a Texas Roadhouse feel. Food was great. Order the cornbread and the Mac n cheese as sides to share. Tonight it was pulled pork or Chicken sandwich with fries for $8 – look for the daily specials or go with the main menu which has some great bbq classics.

5 stars for service from Jen! Food is mostly amazing but today Again, I had a hair in my brisket. We are regulars so didn’t complain but want management to take notice. Not sure if it’s expo or cooks? The strand was 3-4 inches long. I enjoy the ambiance, service, bbq sauces, etc so I will be back. Maybe order a burger or pork since I have not had a good experience w/brisket.
