Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Why do y’all take forever all the time, especially in the drive-thru? It was just my car and 2 other cars. All we ordered was a burger and 3 chicken strips… i asked for spicy ketchup and y’all give me picante sauce??? Like… how do you even mess up something like that?

Whoever orders for this store needs training. This location is always out of burger buns. We eat here maybe once every two months, and it never fails—we end up having to substitute toast or a smaller bun. The shake machine is always down. Why ask for my order if you’re not ready? She even asked me to repeat my order and still wasn’t ready. It’s a regular occurrence to be missing items so had to go back through drive-thru. This entire location needs training.

51 minutes for a single burger meal through the drive through, not even busy!!! There was one car in front of us at the speaker when we pulled up. No apology, no explanation. 15 minutes after taking payment while at the window!!! Never again

Only complaint is they forgot to provide two fries as we ordered 2 meals. The food itself is fantastic. Drive wait time is pretty long however.

Almost 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 2 cars ahead of me and had a simple order. 2 cars behind me eventually left. The person in the intercom scoffed EVERY time I added something. Go get a different job!

I went for the first time… it was really good! I had the patty melt and onion rings, awesome! The young man was tending the front alone. I hope he gets paid good, because he was outstanding!!!

Whataburger is one of my all time favorite restaurant bit the night staff of Saturday October 11th was the worst I have scene in my life I gave my order nice simple and quick all I asked for was a number 2 large with cheese and a sprite never asked for my name the proceeded to lose my order in the system and i waited for an hour as exactly 6 cars behind me passed before I even got to talk to anyone and when I told him my order he said knowingly that it’s been made the whole time but sitting there BECAUSE THEY NEVER ASKED MY NAME so they brought it out and I asked is it free? He scoffed then said I gave u a cookie I told him I had a tooth removed recently and couldn’t eat that I asked nicely if he could just get me another larger fry he proceeds to walk back inside sit in there in a moment(I’m guessing) and then walk back out with my order ME TRUSTING HIM DRIVES OFF AFTER THANKING HIM AND WISHING HIM A GOODNIGHT to find out he walked inside for nothing and never even got fried again this is the WORST experience I have ever had here and I come her frequently

It honestly pains me to write this because I’m a huge fan of Whataburger — I usually eat there 2 or 3 times a week. But the Ardmore location really let me down. The service was slower than a snail in reverse, and the staff didn’t seem all that friendly either. My wife ordered a simple cup of coffee, and it somehow took over 13 minutes to make.

To make matters worse, the manager was speaking very unprofessionally to one of the young staff members about the sink — totally unnecessary and uncomfortable to watch.

Come on, Whataburger, I know you can do better than this. Please get this location back on track!

This was my 2nd time eating at a Whatabuger. Overall, it was a great cheeseburger. I ordered it with everything on it with french fries and a chocolate shake. I compared the regular ketchup to the spicy ketchup. I have never had spicy ketchup and found it to be delicious.

When I say the worst Whataburger experience ever. Slow service. People walking around behind the counter but no one wants to say there’s customers at the counter. Some folks stood there so long they turned around and walked out. I ordered the same burger I always order asked for no pickles, got home and the only thing on it was onions and mustard…no lettuce or tomatoes (as it comes). I upsized my fries (a waste) they tasted as if the grease needs to be changed. I had to throw them away, they weren’t even worth eating. They weren’t busy so I don’t understand the service or quality of food being so terrible.
