Have been going there for 15 years. First to the sisters, who burned the bottom of each pie 100% of the time.

In come the new owners about 2 years ago. They put no money into the place, except to repair the base of the pizza ovens.
Problem solved! The pizza is no longer burnt on the bottom.

Aside from that everything about the place is terrible.
Pricing for two very small slices and a small fountain coke: $8.00. Food cost about: 1.50 cents.

I get much better prepared, larger slices and a can of Coke from “Peperino” pizza in Manhattan. Peperino is located in a high rent area near the Hudson River and 57th.
See provided photos of this establishment and dishes as they are prepared.
Price 25% higher than “Pizza Town USA”.

Clearly there’s an issue here:
Pizza Town is a massive RIP-OFF.
Let’s see how this works out for them when the US economy goes off a cliff within a few months.

This review has been posted with gratitude by “Covert Resource / SPY SHOP” a mere half a mile east of your dangerous turnoff GS Parkway exit ramp location.
Traffic exiting the GSP exit should be forced to yield to 46 westbound traffic. This should be enforced vigorously by the local police.

Don’t waste your time and energy responding to this message.

Was out with a buddy and we were craving some good Jersey Za, went and looked up the best pizza spots in Bergen County which led us to Pizza Town USA. Loved the vintage old school presentation and outdoor seating. Pizza was solid and passed the fold test! Would recommend and will be back!

I’ve driven past this place on Route 46 for years, and after seeing it on youtube, I finally stopped by to satisfy a pizza craving. The shop has a great nostalgic atmosphere that transports you back to the 1970s; unfortunately, the pizza was terrible.

I ordered a plain slice and a Coke. The soda was flat RC cola, making it feel like I was just drinking syrup, and the pizza tasted like cardboard. It had barely any cheese and was spread with a large amount of cheap tomato sauce. The crust was so thin it felt like there was no bread at all. I also tried an order of three zeppoles; they were okay—not the best I’ve had, but not the worst.

I paid $8 for the slice, drink, and zeppoles, which felt overpriced—the slice and drink alone shouldn’t have been more than $3. While the entrance notes that cash is cheaper, I was still charged the credit price. The establishment definitely needs some TLC. While it’s cool to maintain an ‘old school’ vibe, a little restoration would go a long way. On the plus side, the owners were very friendly.”

I have been going to Pizza Town since I was a toddler.

My dad began going when they first opened over 60 years ago.

The pie has remained the same and the current owners have done an incredibly job honoring the long history and legacy of this pizzeria.

It’s a Brooklyn style pie which emphasizes a wonderful sauce that pops. Made fresh with San marzano tomatoes topped with some grated hard cheese and some mozzarella.

The pie is thin crust and baked well done to an amazing crunch.

In my opinion the best pie in North NJ if not all of NJ.

Outstanding service! I highly recommend this old school NJ institution.

A working progress. Since new owners, so I had the” leave it to us” today , its actually a sandwich there , not just a slogan on the board.. but the last time I had it i was disappointed how they changed the bread, not there fault cause the backery they use to get it from retired…. but i guess they found a way to remake to as close to how i remember it .. I guess they tryed a new baked style bread, n it really close to how it once was. I have to admitt, it was fantastic… im so glad theyre trying to keep some things the same how it use to be made . And i commend them for that.

This spot holds a special place for me. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, dating back to when the old man and later infamous sisters/brother ran the show. Since the new owners took over, I am genuinely thrilled to say that the high quality has been consistently maintained. It remains one of the absolute best places in the area and in NJ to grab a perfect slice or a classic cheese pie. A special note: you must try their Zeppoles—they are truly exceptional! I look forward to supporting this pizzeria for many years to come.

Amazing Thin-Crust Pizzas!! Perfectly-balanced amounts of Sauce and Cheese!

They have tables inside and outside for dine-in.

I highly recommend the pizzas here!

PIZZA TOWN USA – a very retro vintage vibe with great pizza it is the perfect thin crust and the cheese and sauce are right on schedule, The Pizza is floppy in the front and crust in the back. The prices are very reasonable for todays economic climate which you only see increased prices but this place remains consistent and fair trade prices which is nice to see nowadays . The zeppoles are another nice surprise as they are made fresh and are generously covered with powdered sugar and crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside just like my nona used to make. They also offer hot and cold subs and entrees like eggplant parmesan. I also noticed they have cold beer and on fFridays they have a comedy night from 9 pm till 11 pm. which sounds interesting and a fun twist to a pizza joint the hours are late till 11:00 pm during the week and on weekends late till 2:00 AM.

Requiem for what used to be amazing pizza. This place was a classic but unfortunately since changing hands, the pizza quality has plummeted. We went today and had a half pepperoni and half cheese, and it was terrible. Soggy, with low quality cheese, and the crust was tasteless as was the tomato. The pizza there used to be so dekicious: thinner, crispy crust, sweet tomato sauce, good cheese. Even the zepolees we had were cold and tasteless, and the sugar had a weird flavor. The sodas were also off; used to have the best tasting fountain drinks, but today was not the case. Such a terrible tragedy. I guess they had to substitute cheaper ingredients. We will no longer make the trip to eat here. I would say avoid this place. Another icon bites the dust.
