When I arrived, there was some confusion over where they wanted to seat me. It was a little frustrating as I was walked into the dining room twice only to be asked to go back to the lobby to wait for a table to be cleaned. I wasn’t in a hurry, so I just did as they asked but a couple that walked in at the same time as me, walked out without being seated. I also want to mention that it is too dark in the entryway. Coming in from bright sunlight, my eyes could not adjust to the darkness fast enough, and I tripped on the rug. Once seated, my server was very kind and attentive. I chose to order the lunch popcorn shrimp and a loaded baked potato. I enjoyed the cheddar bay biscuits while I waited for my meal. The biscuits were hot, fresh and moist. Perfect. My meal was adequate but nothing to brag about. To be honest, I’ve had bigger and better popcorn shrimp from the freezer section at the grocery store. The baked potato was good but most of my toppings were under or around the potato, not on it. One more note: my plate had a large chip broken off. (See photo)

My daughter wanted to go here for her ninth birthday. The food, wait and service were terrible. It took forever to get our food, we only seen our waiter twice. I spent $130 and got her the crab and lobster feast and it came with a tiny dried up lobster tail and the smallest set of crab legs I’ve ever seen, the food was terrible. We had about five bites of crab. Our waiter seemed like he hated us and openly racist it made us very uncomfortable. It ruined my daughter’s birthday. No wonder Red Lobster is going out of business, will not ever return!

We enjoyed our meal! Everything was delicious so I decided to try the boil, I waited until the hype died to try. I actually liked it alot, I don’t care for those little poor crab legs so what I did was purchased the sailors boil and added several lobsters, extra corn, sausage, shrimp, etc.now that was amazing. My husband said the salmon was perfection! The server and hostess were kind and very soft spoken they gave a warm greeting and kept a smile. It was quiet and peaceful here and the temperature was at a perfect setting. I don’t know about other locations but I will highly recommend this one for the boil.

I am here at red lobster and when I tell you the management Mr. Joe Moore takes care of his staff. His staff was all occupied and one of the tables wasn’t ready, he didn’t go get nobody to bust that table he went and got a bust bucket hisself and then when the staff was able to help she helped him finish so the tables stayed clean. Now that is what you call excellence. Dont be afraid to help when you know your staff doing they best. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the product to where she was able to make suggestions of the best price for your pocket. We didn’t ask but she provided the drink options and a better way to taste the drinks they had available. The food was great and on time. Waiting was not an option and it was fresh and hot.

I recently placed an online delivery order with Red Lobster and initially ran into some delivery hiccups. I received an automatic text with one delivery time, followed by an emailed receipt and tracking link showing a later delivery window. Unfortunately, that final delivery window came and went without my order arriving.

When I first called the restaurant, I was met with a series of explanations that didn’t immediately resolve the issue. However, once I spoke with the manager, Mr. Joe, the experience completely turned around.

Mr. Joe was professional, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. He took ownership of the situation, promptly refunded my order, had the meal re-prepared, and ensured it was delivered within a reasonable timeframe. His customer service truly stood out and made a frustrating situation feel valued and resolved.

While the initial delivery confusion was disappointing, the way Mr. Joe handled the issue is the reason for the strong rating. Mistakes happen—but excellent customer service makes all the difference. I appreciate the care taken to make things right and would absolutely order again because of that level of professionalism.

Loved our meal at the Trussville Red Lobster today. Our server Marsha was excellent. Our drinks were never empty and she checked on us throughout our meal. The food was delicious. Marsha recommended the Spendless Shrimp (popcorn shrimp, shrimp Alfredo, and shrimp scampi) it was enough to feed 2 people. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

This place is conveniently located near several shopping stores. We went on a sunday at 2 pm which was a good time because it wasn’t so busy. There is plenty of parking all around the store. The waitress was very friendly and let us choose another seat if ours wasn’t to our liking.

We got 3 complimentary cheese biscuits to start off.We ordered the lobster dip as an appetizer and lobster lover’s duo all of which was delicious. This main dish comes with 2 sides but certain sides you pay a bit extra which I wish we were told about. The place and bathrooms are clean. Overall a great experience and will be coming here again.
