Laid-back joint for New Orleans-style eats, drinks & sports on TV in hopping quarters with a patio.

i used to live in new orleans,
they do sell live cooked crawfish but i think it’s important to know that they sell VERY small crawfish and i ordered IN season. It was the entire bucket and became a pain to eat.
The flavor is good so im not mad at it, but i am disappointed. I’m sure all of their other food is good, though i haven’t tried.

I’ve been coming here for years. All of the food is amazing, but my favorite is crawfish and I’m so excited it’s back in season! Friendly staff, fantastic eats, and an overall great local vibe. Lucky for me, I can walk here! I literally love everything from the menu I’ve tried. Can’t wait to see how many pounds of crawfish I eat the in next few months (this year I’m keeping track)! It’s the type of place that remembers your order even if it’s been a while – 2025 crawfish season ended last summer, but as soon as I sat down they asked me if I wanted my 3 pounds with drawn butter on the side.

This Place is a NEW Favorite of mine. One visit is all it took. I only got a pic of one item (Black & Blues), which is blackened & baked, fresh Bluepoint Oyesters with blue cheese and looks to be a provolone cheese on top. They were incredible, and $2/ea on special. They had several great lunch specials as well. I got the Fried Oyster Po’Boy which was also great. My wife got the Cajun Sampler of sorts (can’t remember the name) and it was definitely worth getting again. The creole chicken and sausage were phenomenal. However, I saved the best for last…Smoked Wahoo Fish Dip, that comes with tortilla chips, red onions and tomatoes. This is the best I have had outside of Italy (Baccalà) which is not smoked Wahoo, but incredibly fresh Cod and flaky. Anyway this Wahoo Dip is really smoked and smoked in-house. BTW, Wahoo is a kind of fish that is caught locally in FL. Just go there already. They know what they are doing!!!

I can promise you that you will not be disappointed! We walked up and there was a line, 20 minute wait. It was worth the wait! It’s been such a long time that I have gone to a restaurant and every more so that hit my tongue was beyond amazing delicious. It was so satisfying and so down home taste days. We had the pleasure of having Jimmy as our server and he did not steer us wrong.
We got the blackened Gator and fried catfish with macaroni and cheese, collard greens and red beans and rice and hush puppies.
And then he suggested the bread pudding! Omg! The bread pudding! So delicious and the drinks were crisp and on point. I actually can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a GOOD to GREAT gumbo, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to visit Shuck N Dive. Their gumbo, in my opinion, is soooo good! Desserts, there are so many good options! My table ordered bread pudding and peanut butter homemade pie! These were so delicious that I forgot all other bites that I ate. I looked down and all bread puddling was gone. Atmosphere, it felt like I was in a restaurant at Bourbon St. However, if you are looking for some golf trophies and inspiration in golfing, this is the place to go get your inspiration! I will be back next time I’m in town!

Amazing local eatery!! I absolutely loved my visit to Shuck and Dive in Fort Lauderdale! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly and attentive.
The food was fantastic, but the fried pickles were the real standout, perfectly crispy and incredibly flavorful. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious!!
If you’re in the area and love great seafood and comfort food, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant we ate at felt like I was in New Orleans. The music was nice and low but filled thr atmosphere. There is plenty of space to eat. Two bars for when it gets busy. Big tables, booths, as well as outdoor space. The people here are friendly. The service is nice. Food is made pretty quickly and still very delicious. We had raw and baked oysters. Blackened Fish with Mac and cheese and Tator Tots. Crawfish with rice. The drinks were pretty okay too.
I would definitely come again to have a taste of New Orleans.

my experience was ridiculous in many ways . for starters , the the wait was unbearable . on top of that , i waited for a half meal that was very pricy . my plate literally looks like a $2 checkers bite box , yet i payed $19 for conch & fries . on top of that , the oysters i ordered were very fishy & slimy. the proportion of the food seems as though they are going out business & decided to give me leftover scraps for my meal . would NEVER go back again , if you want good conch , go to quickies. thank me later !!!

Blackened catfish was good. Mac & cheese was excellent. The Cajun fries were great. Tried some gator, which was good. Just a fun, delicious time.

I used to love coming here, but the service has gone down completely. This is my second time receiving bad service back to back. I was craving their oysters and gumbo today, and unfortunately I had to leave without even a sip of water. I waited a few minutes to be seated and I was not greeted or seated. I decided to sit at the bar in hopes to be serviced, and as soon as I sat down the bartender told me I had to go outside if I wanted to talk on the phone per her bosses orders. I would believe that, but I sat at the bar a couple months ago with the same bartender and was on my phone the entire time and was never told I had to go outside. I decided to leave and go to upper deck, and spend more money to receive better service. Upper deck allowed me and other patrons to freely be on our phones with no consequences, and had remarkable service. My friends also warned me not to go to shuck n dive, because they recently flew in on a Wednesday specifically for their oyster special and ended up leaving to go to upper deck because the service was so bad. The good food does not make up for the bad service.
