Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

For a fast food place with cheap burgers that is only found in Texas, it’s about as good as it can get. They also have to serve a giant crowd of people at 2 am who leave Mav’s so props to them for serving food at a decent speed. Unfortunately they did not get my order correct but it’d be too long to get it fixed. The fries were still pretty good.

Pretty disappointing experience even for a whataburger. The dining room had multiple dirty tables. And not a SINGLE table was cleaned the 45 mins or so I was there. The drink station was dirty. The mat in front of the drink station was so nasty, my shoes stuck to it.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich had a hair in it. Not too surprising after reading through some reviews and seeing employees. The cashier was nice and handled it very well. She took the old sandwich away and brought me a new one very quickly. That was about the only good part of this visit. How they handled a hair in my sandwich if that tells you anything. The fries were kinda old and hard. I placed my order for dine in, but received it in a sack.
My biggest complaint would be that the employees put rubber gloves on and then commence to touching EVERYTHING never changing the gloves. WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT?? These type of infractions should be caught during inspections. No wonder some customer reviews talk about getting sick. I saw the cashier take out the trash, take money, stock cups and lids, condiments, etc. all while wearing her blue gloves. These gloves are NOT magical. They should be changed out as often as washing your hands is required. Either change them out or wash your hands instead of using gloves. Disgusting!

Whataburger is hands down one of the best burger spots around! Their burgers are always juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor — you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. The buns are soft, the toppings are fresh, and every bite is just delicious.
Their salads are also a pleasant surprise — super fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. They’re the perfect lighter option if you’re not in the mood for a burger.

I got a chicken sandwich and it was very hard to eat. I’m very disappointed. I added a picture of one of the very hard parts in chicken.

Used drive through today! Added my own cooked fried onion rings to my plain double Whataburger! Onion rings appear to not be frozen! Seem to be freshly made! Yummy!

Ordered the breakfast platter sub a Jalapeños biscuit and add American cheese to the eggs plus a side of sausage gravy. Got non of that right. Pics are what I got after waiting for the “fix” of my order. The way they put the cheese next the eggs said enough. Look at that delicious pool of grease on top of the gravy too though. Yum

Went twice got the order wrong twice… I went Wednesday(12-17) ordered a double whataburger on TX toast, large fry, medium coke zero, and a cup of white gravy. I get it I should’ve checked my bag before I left, but got home no gravy and I got a single patty burger for whatever reason. I call, the manager apologizes and says we we will remake the order no problem. I’m like great sounds good.
I go back for a retry a couple days later and I get a Mayo blasted single patty burger they still forgot the white gravy(which i had to go back and ask for) just to find out when I got home the fries and burger were cold… NEVER GOING TO THIS WHATABURGER AGAIN…

Check your orders, this location is always leaving items you pay for out of your bag, they load down a sandwich with condiments when you put to go light on them. Today got a still raw burger and no one answers the phone, it is a 20+ minute drive to this location and I am tired of burning gas to go back to get my order fixed.

I stop in here at least once a week for breakfast but, I have to adjust my time at least 45 minutes because this whataburger is slow. Today my tortillas were like rocks and the food prep guy was out front helping a fellow employee while my food sat on the counter for 10 minutes. They really nee better management. It should not take 30 minutes to get 2 number 20 at 5:15am and the drive through empty.
