We finally stopped in for dinner at this location because my daughter was craving spaghetti. The last time I ate at an Old Spaghetti Factory was two years ago at the Portland South Waterfront spot, mostly for the view.

We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday and waited about 10 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad.

Service was the highlight! Becky, our server, was kind, attentive, and checked in frequently. She even packed us up a fresh loaf of bread to go along with our leftovers, such a thoughtful touch.

What we ordered:
– Tropical Dreamsicle (zero-proof), $6.95: First few sips were refreshing and just right. But as it sat, it got sweeter and sweeter, and I couldn’t finish it.
– Zesty Sausage & Pasta, $21.99: Large portion, but the presentation wasn’t appealing. The sausage was a bit chewy, and the whole dish didn’t hit the mark for me.
– Lobster & Crab Ravioli, $24.50: I ordered it for the seafood, but the flavor didn’t reflect that. Should’ve been called Ricotta Ravioli since I barely tasted any lobster or crab, just lots of cheese and a pesto Alfredo sauce.
– We picked Minestrone Soup for our side: Generous with veggies, but the broth was a little too salty for my taste.
– Dessert came with the meals: My daughter happily devoured their vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle. I went for the sorbet, and it was not too bad!

Overall, we came for a comfort meal and were met with solid service. The food was just okay, probably not something I’d go out of my way for again, but the nostalgic vibe and Becky’s service made it a pleasant evening.

Pros:
They had amazing mac and cheese! And all the food is great. The staff was very nice too and the restruant was old themed. (Duh me it has old in the name.)

Cons:
Our waitress did not give us straws and when we wanted a large drink she gave us a small.

Great food, great service! Our waiter was great… He was quick, freindly and on top of things. Good was great. I had the chicken breast alfredo and my mom had the meat lovers spaghetti. Lots of food, had to take some home. For under $60.

Very disappointing experience. I tried to place a large order for my grandpa’s birthday through their online system, but it wouldn’t allow me to submit the full order at once. To work around it, I called the restaurant directly and placed the order over the phone.

Our order included:
• Spaghetti with clam sauce, salad, and spumoni
• Chicken piccata with salad and spumoni
• Side of garlic cheese bread
• Catering order of meatballs and penne

When we got home, we discovered that half the order was missing. All we received was the garlic cheese bread, the pasta with clam sauce, the chicken piccata, and nine meatballs with no pasta. No salads, no spumoni, and no penne from the catering order.

This created a stressful situation because we didn’t have enough food to serve guests at my grandpa’s birthday. For a restaurant that should be able to handle takeout and group orders, this was a major letdown. I’d be very hesitant to rely on this location for any event or large order.

Fun vibe & a blast to the past no matter how many time we go a year. Portions are massive – we never leave hungry.

We loved the adds of salad/soup, fresh bread, and scoop of ice cream – all complimentary with every meal!

Michael was one of the best servers we have ever had at any restaurant. He was attentive, personable and so kind. Food is always top quality, but service is often very inconsistent, but not tonight. Great way to end 2025.

I love eating at SF, but last night was unexpected. The hostess led us to the booth at the rear of the train car and I thought Nice! It was filthy, broccoli and veggies on the floor, seats speckled with crummy stuff, and a bit of a sticky table. I did not sit down, and I looked to the booth to my right and saw a scoop of something and other stuff under the prepared table.
I requested another booth, which was too tight for the 4 of us, so we walked back to the hostess stand at the front.
The saving grace was being invited to sit at a table in the bar where it was clean and the service was great!
I don’t work for SF but I would be embarrassed if I did. The lack of attention to detail, and asking customers to sit at a filthy table. You can do better.
