Ordered two items and dined in: the Maizito and the Hawaiian hot dog.
The Maizito was actually pretty good. The contrast between the different meats worked well, and the sweet pineapple mixed with the corn was unique. It had good balance and flavor.
The Hawaiian hot dog was literally the worst hot dog I’ve ever had in my life. While I understand that sounds extreme, it’s unfortunately true. From the first bite, the texture was of. I bit into soggy, overly thick bread filled with a heavy, dense, flavorless creamy sauce. The pineapple sauce combined with two other creamy toppings completely overwhelmed everything else and made the majority of the bite. Literally like biting into a mouthful of thick goop.
The hot dog itself was room temperature. It was also very skinny. With hardly any meat, most bites were just bread and thick, flavorless sauce. The toppings were so heavy and excessive that it felt like a mouthful of cold, bland paste rather than a hot dog.
For more than $9 per hot dog, it was a total rip-off. No flavor, soggy bread, overpowering creamy toppings, and barely any meat. Overall, just a messy, flavorless unpleasant experience.
The restaurant itself is clean as were the bathrooms. The staff was ok. No welcoming smiles upon entering but not impolite by any means.

My Boyfriend and I found this place on a whim. This is our 2nd time visiting and wow this place has not disappointed. The bugers are delicious!! Be warned it gets messy but what good food isn’t a bit messy. Would totally recommend. Staff is also very friendly and attentive.

I love their perro huevón and their natural juices. We been coming here for a while, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is super chill and the attention is on point. Is one of our favorite places to visit. Also, their maicitos are the bomb. Would be coming back soon. 10/10

La Perrada is definitely one of my favorites places, I’m a regular client here since 2017. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and tastes amazing. You can really tell they cook with love. Every dish I’ve tried has been amazing, especially the Gordo Burger, Maizito and Perro Huevon. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone who wants authentic Colombian flavors and great service!
