We had a visit from a unwanted guest while eating. Ordered the comb fajitas cook med. The steak came to the table rare and I sent it back. Then I started eating but when I cut into it I noticed this was also rare. We order shrimp taco but they decided to bring us fish taco instead. The price for the fajitas was not worth it. Seriously went down hill from our last visit and well not be returning.

Uncle Julio’s at One Loudoun is a fantastic spot with a lively atmosphere and great music that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, and the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. My personal favorites are the Honey Chipotle Salmon and the Crab & Shrimp Enchiladas — both absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun vibe and outstanding Mexican cuisine.

The food was delicious, i got the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The restaurant was clean and staff were polite. We got the chocolate piñata which was very tasty!

Uncle Julio’s Mexican restaurant is a great place to stop by if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. It’s located in One Loudoun outdoor shopping complex and surrounded by high-end boutiques, including the container, store, and foster real estate, northern Virginia, orthodontics, Barnes & Noble, the tap, Bar Louie and many other fine establishments. The decor of the restaurant is very nice – I would say top notch. There is plenty of outdoor seating, indoor seating as well as a bar area. The staff is extremely friendly and service is very quick. I ordered the grilled steak bal and my dad ordered a grilled chicken which came with guac and tortillas. Overall., The food quality and service was very good and I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine. Also, there is 360 minute street parking as well as free parking garage for your vehicle

I was disappointed with my visit. My order was incorrect and took a very long time. After waiting, I decided not to eat anything. On top of that, I noticed a cockroach on my table, which was unacceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves hygiene and service

Needed a Mexican fix so stopped by for a taco and enchilada plate. Had a beef taco and two types of enchiladas (don’t recall which types), but all were tasty and the beans and rice were good. I would have rated the food 5 stars but the first batch of chips were super greasy, when I asked for a new batch they were much better. Overall and enjoyable experience and the ambiance was quite nice. Service was a bit spotty at times.

One stop for great American authentic Mexican food. They will greet you with freshly baked corn chips and two types of dips which Will be very different from usual salsa but quite interesting in taste. One will taste like salsa but the other was crazy spicy like a habanero sauce, but I like it as I like spicy food. There portion size for anything is pretty good. We were four people and took only two entrees and one appetizer, and we were full. We ordered mushroom corn taco which was vegan along with black beans. It was pretty good. Also we had cheeses and onion quesadilla which was bit bland in taste but still good. The best was shrimp and crab meat enchiladas. The rice with it was damn tasty. The enchiladas were so nicely full with protein that we could taste both crab and shrimp meat. We had a good time there. The service provided was quick and smooth. The ambience was also quite modest and classy. Overall you must try it.

Have been going to this brand since I arrived in DC back in 92 when they also went by “Rio Grand”. They had always been consistently awesome with their menu and quality. Since covid they have probably changed their recipes 20 times, worsening each time. Their food is now flavorless and overpriced. Beans, chips and salsa used to be incredible, now they don’t even give you beans unless you ask and they’re just plain pinto beans. Chips are often crunched up from the bottom of a bin and randomly seem to come from a bag instead of the warm, fresh, melt in your mouth quality with the incredible salsa they USED to have.
Dealing with the disappointment after being proud to take people here for decades. Will start taking people all the way out to Guapos in Fair Lakes. They are the new Mexican food masters now i guess. So sad. Uncle Julios presentation now seems to run deception over their lack of flavor and quality. Its like they are consistently working to increase profit by cutting ingredients while hiding behind presentation and increasing prices. You are definitely paying a lot more for a lot less now. Anyone whos been around this brand a while knows exactly what im talking about. Maybe its just this one franchise. Ill go try the arlington location (mother ship) soon and see. Sorry for the rant, just seriously disappointed in what used to be my favorite restaurant.

Today I visited uncle Julio’s. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was amazing. Our server, Maya, was a wonderful waitress. She was very attentive to our needs. The holiday decorations near my table were done beautifully and added a nice ambiance to the restaurant. If you have the chance, go visit Uncle Julio’s One Loudoun for dinner or drinks sometime this holiday season!

We went here with the whole family for my brother’s birthday and I just moved here from Texas and the food was actually not great. What kind of really small portion of fajitas for the money I was surprised. And the food just wasn’t very flavorful there was really not any spice to anything. It just seems like corporate Northeastern us Mexican food. But the staff was great and the atmosphere is good and it certainly good enough for a birthday party when you have a lot of people with different tastes. I will say this I have a 91 year old dad who has never really been interested in eating Foods he’s not familiar with. We even discussed on the way there how he wasn’t interested in trying Mexican food. But we got him the chicken with vegetables. They came out with this giant chicken breast and it was very good and he doesn’t eat much he ate the whole thing. So it was great for my dad because when we looked online it said they had ribs and we thought he would get those but they don’t actually have those. And there wasn’t like a burger option. So that was great
