I made an order for a three piece of tenders that look like one tender and I went to the register to ask him if they could at least give me the $6 meal. One of the manager said they were going to make sure I got a side I waited an extra 15 minutes and almost missed my bus and never received a freeze she simply told me that the worker went outside and he be right back I’m like what does that even mean when you told me to be 3 minutes.

Before entering the store, I noticed the right entry door is still boarded up. I decided to place my order via the app at 2:43 pm. While waiting, I noticed the floors and tables are fairly dirty (see pictures). The windows appeared to not be washed for several days as well.

After 13 minutes of waiting, I decided to go to the counter to inquire about my order. The first crew member approached me, I asked her about my order and she proceeded to gather the manager to assist. The manager turned around and grabbed my order and handed it to me. I’m unsure how long my food sat on the counter but no one announced the order was ready and the app did not notify me either.

I took the food to my car and immediately inspected both sandwiches. They were hot, as if they were freshly made. After one bite, I was impressed that the sandwich was cooked well, a little soggy in the crust because it did sit a few minutes. The crew added the right amount of condiments and the sandwich was enjoyable to eat.

The strawberry sweet tea was quite sweet and tasted like strawberries and Cane sugar was added. There was very little ice in the drink but I preferred little ice so they scored a win with the drink.

I was not impressed by the customer service I received at the pick-up counter. The staff wasn’t friendly and appeared as if there was a language barrier preventing us from communication properly. They also exhibited very little enthusiasm and a lack of willingness to assist.

Overall, the experience was a mixed bag, again, at this location. Besides specialty, what is needed with this crew is a little retaining and some teamwork, as well as some cleanliness, reminders throughout the day. There’s always something to clean at a restaurant, so standing around is unnecessary. There’s no excuse for a dirty restaurant; it ruins the atmosphere and breeds germs and bacteria, which is harmful when cooking raw meat.

The only reason I gave this location a second chance was to assess whether it’s safe to eat here. I would err on the side of caution and order inside the lobby to have an experience yourselves. It’s a lazy day at Popeyes, y’all. If there’s something else to eat in the area, seek that option first. 2.5 stars, at best.

Update: I’ve received a response from the owner of the restaurant. As a courtesy, I am willing to review this restaurant a third time, somewhere in the future, to see if they are truly intent upon providing a better customer experience. My visit did not meet my expectations, nor would it meet the expectations of the hungry crowds exiting US-24.

Being in such a busy area, one would think there would be a crowd at this location. Alas, the parking lot was nearly empty. The best advice given to me as a reviewer was to never eat at a restaurant with an empty parking lot. We shall see if this holds true upon my next visit. Good luck.

Terrible customer service from the manager. Customers should not have to argue with management about receiving dark meat when it’s plentiful & white meat is old and dried out.

This is the only Popeyes within their franchise who does not seem to be able to make an accommodation to replace a drumstick instead of a dried out chicken breast.

Manager is not customer friendly. No greetings, no “thank you, come again”, just chicken and frowns.

Make sure you cut in line here, they’ll serve you anyways. Do it, swerve right into the parking lot and cut everybody. Make sure you’re first, they’ll serve you just fine and make everybody else that’s been in line wait longer with nothing extra for it, even after asking. They won’t tell you to loop around and wait your turn, they’ll just serve you. Take your order right there at the window.

Cut everybody. As soon as you enter. It’s a Secret Life Hack here…apparently

Ok so definitely disappointed. The side dish was only half full I had to ask for condiments including butter and honey the chicken tenders were bland and they shrunk. And the shrimp tasted like fish they were dry and they were out of tarter sauce and cocktail. The soda machine was flat and the guy at the register was not restaurant quality hygiene. He was also very rude. Let’s not mention the parking lot was sheer ice. Up to the side walk. ‍ I used to love this place they took care of there customers and it was always fresh now the 30 bucks I spent for a total of 7 tenders an a dozen wannabe popcorn shrimp was a waste of time and money

Tried to order Popeyes after my late work shift on door dash tonight. They gave our order to some random person and our food was reported as stolen by door dash. There was absolutely zero effort to rectify this situation. I have tried to call the store multiple times, and so has a door dash representative, and they have not answered. They also don’t have a voice mail set up, so unless they pick up the phone there is no way for me to get in contact with them or report my complaint, or more so receive a proper refund.

Picked up my mobile order and put my wings in the fridge cause I wanted to save them for lunch the next day. Pull them out and there was dry rub on only one wing and they were bone in instead of boneless. Called and talked to Linda who is super kind and helpful over the phone, but when I got to the store the manager was very short and rude, telling me that if they saw my face in there again asking for another six piece they would not give me anything. One star is the lowest I could go, but if I could, I would give that man’s service a zero.

Do not waste your time, money or energy. This location is disgusting! Served me old bitten food and half filled container for my combo purchase. I paid full price, was well mannered at the drive thru window when placing my order and they up charge me on the Mac and cheese side without explanation. The guy at the window coughed into my bag before handing me my order. First thing I did was check my food and luckily it was in containers but then I found this disgusting bitten chicken and old food. Its like they’re eating on the job. I hope they get reported!

I received the wrong order and drove back around to let them know. They told me another customer already took my order and so they gave me someone else’s order instead. I asked if they could just remake it to which she said she couldn’t remake it since she already gave it out. I explained to her that I already paid and drove out here and I wouldn’t mind waiting to which she agreed.
