Had a great meal here after visiting Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine. We had blinies (potato pancakes), cheeseburger and ham steak. It was delicious! Highly recommend. And the atmosphere of the place is what we were looking for! Dutch Kitchen Restaurant is a true local gem!

Food was great, (other than potato skins in the mashed potatoes).
Forgot to take picture of the seafood sampler platter before eating the 2 pieces of shrimp that came with it, the crab cake was really really good. We also had yuengling beer battered fish and coleslaw.
Jamie was a great waitress.

The food was reasonably priced, tasty and decent portions. The place was quiet but quite cute. The service was lovely! Very polite server. Will definitely save this to return on future road trips.

Forget what you think you know about their breakfast, because Dutch Kitchen in Frackville is here to rewrite the rules with a side of home fries and a whole lot of hospitality. I rolled in with an empty stomach and a healthy dose of skepticism (Frackville, a culinary hotspot? Who knew!), but what I found was a breakfast experience so delightful, it deserves a five-star review and a personal chef’s kiss.

Great service. Gives a true dinner feel. Food was great with great prices. Hot dog and pierogis. Would have given food a 4 star but would have like to dip the pierogis in something like sour cream or lemon butter. But great comfort food. House sauce on the steak sandwich is a tomato base, FYI.

Update: Lunch is awesome too. Get the peach iced tea … You won’t regret it. Had a perfectly cooked 6oz Distle Burger and asked for their horseradish sauce to dip my fries. So good!!!

Absolutely the best breakfast in the county!!! Definitely try any of the seasonal fruit hotcakes. Fresh not pie filling. And the sausage is phenomenal.

First time here on our way to NY. Glad we chose this adorable diner. I ordered the potato wedges and fish sandwich with a side of macaroni & cheese with stewed tomatoes, which were perfect. Not too sweet not too sour. Great choice!

Stopped here traveling from VA to CT. Got here about an hour before they closed, but that wasn’t a problem. Staff was all very nice even with our later arrival time. Had a good variety on the menu, but I needed to ask for the all-day breakfast menu. The food was really good and would definitely recommend for someone who is traveling. There is a Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the highway and would tell someone to stop here as it is very similar to Cracker Barrel but supports a local business.

Popped in while traveling by on the highway. True diner experience. Huge menu selection. I had lunch and the people next to me had breakfast. Salad was so fresh…so much better than drive thru options while long distance driving. Will come back on another trip…the highway billboard is a great reminder!

Must try diner! (But for breakfast)

Any time I see Creamed Chipped Beef, I need to try it to find the best. This dish was great! The potatoes were actually crispy. The Béchamel sauce was seasoned.

The blueberry pancakes were great but served with margarine butter, which was sad.

My partner got fish and chips – avoid. Soggy batter.
