People have told us this place is just average, but we have had a great experience here. The seafood is fresh, they seem to have their own fishing crew that go out everyday. The place is cute, right on the inland waterway, so the water is calm. This night (Saturday) they had live mexican music sung by a woman vocalist. My wife had a salad that was plentiful, fresh, and tasty. I had an off-menu item, I saw they had callos (scallops) on tostadas, but I wanted Callos de Ajo y Aquilla and they made it happen. They even came to me to ask which scalloos I wanted with example of each: Local, National or Imported. I chose local, just because those a guaranteed fresh and frankly they taste the best. My plate was substantial and delicious. They also gave us a starter plate (free) of Aguachile with fish; it was delicious, but very spicy! They delivered a small complimentary dish of bananas foster. Service was very friendly, but a bit slow for there being relatively few diners. We also had two cocktails, which were large and refreshing.

We had an incredible experience here, Service was great, food was very tasty full of flavour and the atmosphere was good vibes, They had live music playing. I got the Ribeye and my partner got coconut shrimp. They also gave us two complementary dishes we wouldn’t have tired but ended up loving! Would definitely recommend. Will be going back!

Terrible terrible service and the owner doesn’t care. Waited over 90 minutes for our food, and they brought it out 1 or 2 plates at a time. Food was lukewarm by the time we got it, kitchen staff was behind but couldn’t be bothered. Our waitress ended up going into the kitchen to plate our food that was already cooked, I don’t blame her at all, she tried her best. Tried to explain the terrible service when we paid, they didn’t care just asked cash or card. Never again. Do not recommend, go elsewhere unless you want to wait 2 hours for food that’s been sitting out.

Stopped by with my mum for dinner.
The place is big, waiter was really nice but the good could have been better. Nice portions but lacked flavor. The ceviche had zero lemon. Shrimp was too sweet.

Barre de Navidad is a beautiful place. Staff at El Manglito is attentive and polite even with a full house. Best tasting seafood I’ve had in a while. Price is relatively cheap as well. We came on a Saturday and there was no parking ANYWHERE. The staff told us to park our car in front of the restaurant and they provided valet parking.

Always good here, the Molcajete bowl is our favorite in the area. It’s right on the water, so make sure you bring bug spray. Service is slow but hey, you are in Mexico.
What is the rush? Drink choices are great and the location is wonderful.

Very nice place for dinner. The waiter spoke good English and attended to our every need. My fish filet Veracruz was fantastic and hot and totally delicious, and I don’t normally care to eat fish. My husband’s combination skewers of beef, chicken, and shrimp were great. We both had so much food we had to do take away. Highly recommended

This food is amazing Do Not Iisten to the very few bad and okay reviews, I’ve eaten here multiple times and it is exceptional. It is always one of our stops every time we come to Cihuatlan. Top Marks!

Horrible experience from start to finish
They wouldn’t serve me I felt invisible
Didn’t provide what they said they would
Said no chilli when there was visible chilli on top and the ceviche was so spicy I said no chilli in Spanish and in English
I communicated every step of the way and they didn’t take any action to do better or take any accountability
Would not recommend
