This place has been going downhill for a long time. It feels like they have plenty of staff, yet everything is chaotic every time I visit.

Food often sits out and looks like it has not been rotated the way it should be. They charge extra for guacamole, but the batch I saw was brown throughout and looked unappetizing. I was told it was oxidation, but oxidation should only affect the top layer, not the entire container.

The overall cleanliness is unacceptable. The kitchen area looks dirty, trash bins are overflowing, food is scattered around, and tables are frequently left with dirty dishes. The dining area is consistently filthy, and I end up wiping tables down myself so my family can sit. At this point, it feels like I should be paid for doing the staff’s job. This is not a one-time issue, it happens every visit.

I am not sure what management is doing here, but I do know this place is not worth the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Little disappointed came in with my family and the place is not cleaned had to whipe down our own table. Then we sat down and as we started to eat we found a piece of plastic in our bowl. I think as many employees there are working someone could clean the work area and tables. They did at least make another bowl to replace it.

10/28/25 Great Experience at Chipotle – Pueblo, CO
We had a great experience at the Chipotle in Pueblo! Fast service and delicious! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and our food was fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Everything was prepared just the way we ordered — a solid stop for a tasty, satisfying bite in Pueblo!
No matter what city or state Chipotle never disappoints!

Fast service and healthy scoops make this chipotle stand out in an time where it typically has a bad rap for such things. It’s always got quite the line but the staff handles it like military chow hall pumping quality food out that’s fresh and aromatic so much you instantly understand youre getting quality while you walk in the door. Staff is friendly and helpful patients of saints dealing with complex orders or special requests they really make a difference and hold composure in difficult times that never takes away from the quality of work they do. I high recommend this one in particular if you have had a bad experience with the company in the past allow this one to turn that around for you.

It was “alright” I guess.
Is it Mexican food?
OH NO! NOT AT ALL but was it decently flavored? Yeah. It was good.

I had really high expectations about this place from others so I may be a bit unfair, it just wasn’t what I heard all about.

The servers so wear gloves me
The same ones they would answer the phone with to cleaning up the counters to keeping them to serve the food so what exactly is the point of wearing them???… I guess it looks good to someone not paying attention.

The big question one might inquire…
Will I go back?
That answer is yes.
I’m warming the truck up as I type to go grab a chicken quesadilla. So I must not be completely disappointed.

The beef burrito I got the last time was almost $17 making the prices a bit disappointing though with the small(er) size of it.

A few years ago this chain had to shut down due to cleanliness issue. Chipotle is headed for another disaster. I may have caught them at a bad moment but the issues I saw at this southern colorado store are common in other locations. The staff is friendly enough but no one can wipe or clean a counter, floor, or cooking area. It appeared so unclean I declined to eat with the group I was with. Dirty. Used pans were placed on the same counter the cook used to cook and cut up meats. The cooks gloves were never changed from cooking chicken, beef, or running dirty pans to the back. I observed the same cutting tool used on the beeg and the chicken and never being washed. People handprints and unclean areas throughout tge restaurant. The “thru-put” was good in serving quantity of customers, but a bit of time could be taken to clean serving areas between a designated number of customers. There were no less than 8 people working and no one every swept, cleaned up the dining area, or took care of the general cleaning needed with groups of customers going in and out. Unfortunately I’ve seen this same thing in other Chipotle stores. It’s only a matter of time before another contamination closure will occur.

I’m not sure when Chipotle decided their business model should be “charge more for significantly less,” but this location has perfected it.
I placed an online order thinking it would save time. Instead, I stood around for 20 minutes past the “ready” time while the staff moved with the urgency of a sloth on vacation. When I finally got my bowl, it was practically a crime scene. I paid for a full meal, but what I received was a shallow layer of rice and a “scoop” of protein that looked more like a garnish.
It’s a consistent pattern here: they are stingy with the ingredients like they’re coming out of their own paychecks, yet they can’t manage to get an order out the door on schedule. If you’re going to skimp on the portions, the very least you could do is be fast about it.
Instead, you get the worst of both worlds—you wait forever for a half-empty bowl. Save your money and go somewhere that actually understands what a “serving size” is and respects your time.

Im not surprised at all. The food isn’t the best, the rice and beans wasn’t fully cooked. The restaurant is extremely dirty, all of the tables were dirty, trash on the floor. And the service wasn’t good because there’s a line out of the door and there’s only one person on the line while other employees walk around. This restaurant was comparable to other bad chipotles that I’ve been too in New York. Very disappointed because I expected to be better here.

This place is ridiculous. We ordered for 3 people, it was delivered quick but my tacos were laughable. Like 3- 5 pieces of meat. Not worth $15. I won’t eat here again. A complete rip off
