We had a nice experience at Italiano in Pearland. The service was good and attentive throughout our visit. The salad portion was a bit small, but entrees were better portions. The pizza was very good, and the eggplant parmesan was excellent, but the artichoke dip with garlic rolls were definitely the standout dish. The ravioli was alright, nothing special but still enjoyable. Overall, a good Italian spot and we’d be happy to come back.

I would consider this restaurant a hidden gem. 1st off the food is excellent, prices are very reasonable, & the service is good too. The restaurant inside is very nice, it has a good atmosphere.

I usually order their sandwiches to go & it’s a very thick & big sandwich, very tasty & on par. I recommend trying out their sandwiches.

First time trying this place. Everyone was really nice and they provided a treat and singing for my daughters birthday. We really enjoyed the ambiance and everything. My husband didn’t feel like his food was seasoned wel, he got the chicken marsala. I got a pasta trio and didn’t really enjoy anything except the lasagna…that was delicious. They offered free bread and salad came with dinner so that was nice. I’d go back again for sure but would be more careful with food selections. It was affordable and family friendly!

It was a good experience and we will be back. The food had aspects of amazing flavor and then some that was very bland. Service was pretty good. Took a little time with the refills. Server was really nice. Atmosphere was good and place was really affordable and friendly

To the Owners of Italiano’s,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the management at your restaurant, specifically involving your manager, Maurico.

During our visit today, we were told the wait would be approximately 45 minutes, which we were perfectly fine with—your food has always been worth it. However, once inside, it became clear that the staff was overwhelmed and lacked direction despite how busy the restaurant was. Throughout this time, Maurico remained behind the bar socializing and drinking with select customers rather than assisting the staff or managing the situation.

After we were seated, we felt rushed to order. Our server later returned to explain that his system was not working correctly and that the manager was unavailable to help. When we looked over, we observed Maurico drinking wine with individuals who appeared to be his family. Our server continued to apologize as we waited roughly 30 minutes before our order was finally entered—only after Maurico briefly addressed the issue. In total, our dinner experience lasted nearly three hours due to the lack of managerial oversight.

Before leaving, we witnessed—and documented—Maurico drinking at a table during peak hours while the restaurant struggled to maintain order.
This level of mismanagement reflects poorly on your establishment and threatens the reputation you’ve worked hard to build. I strongly urge you to review Maurico’s conduct and take corrective action. Without changes, I’m concerned that this location will continue to decline.

I stopped in for lunch and unfortunately, I likely won’t be returning. Our server mentioned that he usually works dinner and didn’t seem to know much about the lunch offerings. Even after checking with management, there were still multiple issues with our orders and confusion over the lunch specials, despite the menu clearly listing them. Service overall was very slow and forgetful, which made the experience frustrating.

On the positive side, the calzone and Caesar salad I ordered were decent, but the service really overshadowed the meal.

Tea and I came in for lunch on a Sunday at 1212, the restaurant was about 60% full, we were promptly sat and out server came right way. They serve some Garlic parmesian knot bread its pretty nice. We ordered Chicken Alfredo and Meatball sandwich, two salads house and a Cesar. The salads were prompt, the mains took an additional 30 mins. Tables seated after us were eating before us. Jesse our server stopped by and said out meals were being plated…they took another 11 minutes to get to our table and my sandwich arrived 4 minutes before Tea’s pasta. The meatballs appeared to be packaged not house made, There was just a hint of sauce, plenty of melted cheese, but it was pretty dry. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty good. Chicken was a touch dry like it was laying on the corner of the grill waiting its turn. We were in the car at exactly 1320. So just over an hour in and out.

A must try when in Houston! Delicious food and excellent service. Pasta trio is a wonderful selection if wanting to try more than one item on menu. Seafood was amazing! Knot rolls were unique and has a wonderful taste to it. Will return when in the area next time!

I hate to even have to post this, but I feel like it’s necessary as it was exceptionally disgusting and the response did not rise to the level of the offense. We found a hair, baked solidly into one of the garlic knots. Upon notifying management their response was essentially, “I’m so sorry, can we bring you some more bread.”

There was no offer to comp our drinks, our meal or portion of it, or even provide a gift certificate for a future meal. There was NO recompense. Free stuff is not always the answer or the goal, but truthfully, if this is found in the food in your establishment, the LEAST you could do is OFFER something more than just an apology. I have to say, I will not go back because I am not convinced that even additional infection control measures or practices will be reinforced or implemented as a result of this. It is disappointing because the food is very very good and I have spent a small fortune frequenting the is restaurant.
