Highly recommend, their food is delicious and service is always good. Usually the restaurant is packed so you have to wait a few minutes but it’s worth the wait. Everything thing there is just right I love the atmosphere, the food and the service.

Am a frequent visitor to SSM & have been to many of the local restaurants. Have been to CR franchises in Gravenhurst & Ottawa & thought the format would be a valuable addition to the SSM restaurant scene. Was pleased to hear a CR is now on GNR.
First visited the SSM CR location on September September 21, 2025. Walked in & was struck by the energetic vibe. The Toronto Maple Leafs were playing the Ottawa Senators during the exhibition season. The game was on the big screens, the staff was decked out in Maple Leafs regalia. The Molson Canadian was flowing, the crowd was enthusiastic & hip & cheered my beloved Leafs to a 4-3 win!
Was in SSM for the Nov 1 Foreigner concert & many concert-goers were headed to CR for Game 7. Lingered at the door watching the game & wasn’t expecting to get a seat. A woman went to the bar & came back to retrieve me & offer me a spot. Don’t know her name but her kindness drew me in and made me a semi-regular.
Had a comfortable spot at the bar, ordered 1/2 price boneless wings with honey sriracha sauce from bartender extraordinaire Tammy & settled in to soak up the Game 7 vibe
The restaurant was filled to capacity. The staff handled the food & drink requests & delivery with friendly efficiency.
Tammy was at the bar and handled everything with ease. It’s obvious that she has a superior skill set to work behind the wood on a busy night. She was the calm at the centre of the storm.
The boneless wings were tasty, filling, and great valu. Enjoyed them while the game unfolded and the crowd ebbed & flowed. Unfortunately the Jays didn’t win the series but they had a good run! We’ll get em next year! ⚾️
Have been back to SSM on several occasions since then and have wandered in to CR. Tammy has been on duty & we shared happy Game 7 memories. She remembered my rescue from the line to the wood!
She’s been training new staff and changing sports channels to get the big games. She’s a friendly & enthusiastic
server with great communication and people skills. Saw her carrying a 12 foot stack of glasses one night. The tower of power!
Credit must be given where it’s due. She’s very good at what she does so hopefully CR management will recognize & support her talents.
The SSM has good food, good prices, good retro soundtracks, good times & great staff.
Will return & recommend.

Every time we dine at Chuck’s Roadhouse, it’s always a great experience, but what truly keeps us coming back is Ken. We honestly plan our visits around his section because we know we’re in the best hands when he’s our server.
Ken is absolutely amazing: friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests. Ken has that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. Ken remembers details, checks in at just the right times, and always brings such positive energy to the table. For a quick place and sports bar, I give this place a good rating. I ordered the rib eye medium rare and my sister ordered the surf and turf. We were pleasantly surprised. We had good service from the staff all around, especially our server Ken.
