I stopped into Country Barbeque and had the best barbecue I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. I actually called my dad from the table just to rave about it.
The wait staff were incredibly polite and attentive, and my meal was unreal. I ordered the quarter chicken (dark meat) with the baked beans and mac & cheese sides, and everything was cooked perfectly. I also tried a hushpuppy for the first time and it blew my mind. The barbecue sauces were epic.
I’ll never forget this experience. A solid five stars and a new must-stop spot whenever I’m in North Carolina.

Got here with a group of 10, they were ready. Had 3 meat platter, ribs, chicken, pork. I enjoyed it all. Should have had white Cole slaw instead of red. Beans were good. I liked the ice cream more than the peach cobbler, portion was large enough for 2 easy. Bbq was good, server was on point and helpful. Would be satisfactory for a quick meal that’s a good value.

Barbecue is slightly above average but as comparing to multiple really good barbecue restaurants in the Piedmont Triad area. Regardless, it’s a good value for the food you receive. I ordered the chopped large barbecue plate with slaw hush puppies and fries, with sweet tea all were delivered with a smile and friendly Service as always at this location. 6 out of 10 definitely will go back if I’m in the area. Would not go out of my way to stop here but it’s a decent restaurant for lunch.

But damn the service! Waitress was constantly eyes open and really attentive. Each time my cup was empty I’d put it by the edge of the table. I’d blink and she’d already be there to refill it.
I hate tipping, I despise it as a concept, and yet she was so good I actually left a couple bucks on the table.
Place feels like a truckstop and I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. Booths are a little small for my fat self, though haha.

This is the place to get great service. The Lexington style BBQ is very good. I happen to love the barbecue chicken. It is very Smokey flavored and very tender it is great with the dip. They actually have both the red slaw and white slaw. The potato salad is pretty good and made from redskin potatoes. The green beans are nice and tender. And the sweet tea just keeps on coming.

Wonderful pulled pork sandwiches quickly served with your choice of slaw ( I had white and the wife had red). Fries were perfect…crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Had a cup of the Brunswick Stew as well. It was full of meat and veggies with a savory flavor!!
