Bella Vita was absolutely wonderful! We ordered the veal parm, lasagna, and eggplant parm — and every single dish was incredible. The veal was perfectly tender — had rich, flavorful sauce and just the right amount of melted cheese. The lasagna was hearty, layered beautifully and definitely made with authentic Italian flavor. The eggplant parm was cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not heavy at all.
We paired everything with a delicious Petite Syrah that complemented the meal & everything perfectly. And to top it off, they surprised us with a birthday cannoli that was fresh, crisp, and the sweetest ending to the evening.
The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience made it a night to remember with friends celebrating birthdays. Highly recommend Bella Vita for a special occasion or just a fantastic Italian dinner!

Hidden Authenticity! Hands down the best authentic Italian in Johnson City! Nothing is frozen or not made from scratch. Tonight we split the pizza and garlic bread. I have had the shrimp pesto linguine before and it’s amazing. Every dish here is abundant in flavor and made to serve. Please dine and enjoy.

Great food, great service. Possibly the best Italian in the Tri Cities. Best we’ve had so far, for sure. A great menu and well above that basic boring same ole stuff you see on most Italian restaurant menus. We’re happy we stumbled upon this hidden gem!

The best in every way possible! The food is unbelievably delicious and the servers are so much fun. We’ve had the chicken parm, spaghetti with meatballs, eggplant parm and veal parm. No complaints about any of them. Everything is cooked fresh and you can tell nothings from a can or leftover from days ago. The portions are huge! I can make at least 3 meals out of one chicken parm. Every meal comes with a salad and I recommend getting the house Italian as your dressing. I’ve never tasted anything like it before. They also have these delicious loaves of bread they bring out right when you sit down. It’s served with little pats of butter, but I highly suggest getting the olive oil dip as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place. While all of the servers are amazing, I recommend asking for Flo to wait on you. He’s just a joy and will make you feel right at home. Trust me, get in your car and go now to this fabulous little gem. You and your taste buds will be happy you did!

This food is really good. A few years ago I had food poisoning here, but I don’t like to leave a bad review unless I don’t plan to come back. I gave it another go the other day, and it was really exceptional. Friendly and attentive waiter as well. I got the pesto fettuccini which was very garlicky!
