Looking for a flamkuchen ? look no more, you found the place to be.
If you like a bite in a not overpriced, overhyped place, go here, the owner is very friendly and better yet the flamkuchen is pretty amazing. And the beer is cold too!
Tip of the day, we saw two people ordering one at a time and share … looked like a great idea instead of ordering two if you are with someone. We found out too late, but next time we will go for the “share kuchen” as well!

La Soï
A cozy Alsatian spot with a relaxed, local vibe.
I had a classic tarte flambée — thin, crispy, and perfectly balanced with crème fraîche, onions, and bacon. Paired it with a glass of Alsace wine, which fit the dish perfectly.
Friendly service, good prices, and a great place for an easy, authentic meal.
Would definitely come back.

This was on my Colmar travel list.
I visited because I was told I had to try the Alsace flambée.
Since reservations were by phone, I arrived a little after lunchtime, and more than half the tables were already occupied.
I sat at the bar and ordered the truffle flambée.
It was delicious with a beer.
The owner was busy taking orders and serving food, but he was always kind enough to ask each table how the food was.
Soon, all the seats were full, and there was a line outside the restaurant.
Since it was a day trip to Colmar, I’d definitely like to try other dishes next time I visit.

Traditional tarte flambee with variety of toppings. The food is delicious.
Huge crowd here. For lunch, they don’t take reservations. I recommend you be there 15 minutes before opening, otherwise very long line.

Great spot to try tarte flambée. Reservation is highly recommended. We tried truffle and basil ones and both were tasty.

Such wonderful service, they were absolutely lovely. The best one was the herbs de provence. They were very accommodating doing the order without meat for one of us. Had Gewürztraminer from Domaine (?) and it was the best we had in the trip/region. The portions were rather large so totally shareable for a smaller portion. They are extremely busy so recommend going there as soon as they open.

Excellent tarte flambée, and the two staff were so friendly as well. A must visit in Colmar, but you will need to book in advance.
Don’t skip the dessert options too!

My family and I are in Colmar for 3 days. We came across La Soi on Google Maps and saw that it was full when we were walking back from dinner during our first night. I figured if we get there right when dinner service starts at 7, then we should be able to get a table, but I was so wrong. They were already fully booked for the rest of the night, and closed for the next two days. I was so disappointed thinking that I won’t be and to try it based on all the reviews. Since we were staying around the corner from there. I asked the guy if I can get take out. He did me a favor and was able to accommodate that. I saw a “take away available” sign hidden when I was waiting for my order, so I am pretty sure that they weren’t taking take out orders either. We took it back to our Airbnb, and it was so yummy. We got the Munster and the Gratinée. I’m so glad that we were able to try this place during our trip. Thank you so much to the kind staff who was able to accommodate my take out order.
This place is a MUST GO in Colmar, and make sure to make a reservation.

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding! Incredibly welcoming friendly staff and they are constantly working hard to please everyone. We both had the tartes flambée munster! It was so good! It had a beautiful crust with the most delicious ingredients! We ordered the Riesling wine and enjoyed it! Service was excellent and we got our food fairly quick. We enjoyed it so much we are going back tomorrow night!
Definitely need a reservation! It is very popular and not a big restaurant!
Not to be missed in Colmar!
