The colleague had explained how wonderfully delightful this place was if you’re into Mexican food.
Actually, to be honest, I was very pleased, and I guess if I have to take co-workers or such, this is one of the true Mexican restaurants…I will definitely take them to.
I’m a real history learning type-of person, so I like real true history, not the fake kind that you see here in the States. Abuelo’s means grandfather….cool!
They have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu as well.
The highlight of this visit was undoubtedly the food. Abuelo’s offers a diverse Mexican menu with a wide range of options, and everything I sampled was delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the portions were generous. Their enchiladas and guacamole were standout items that were a hit with my colleagues as well.
One of the restaurant’s strengths for a business lunch was its seating capacity. Abuelo’s provides ample seating, ensuring that our group of professionals could comfortably sit and discuss business matters without feeling crowded. The ambiance was pleasant and conducive to conversation.
Furthermore, the service at Abuelo’s was impressively fast. This is essential for a business lunch when time is often limited. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that our orders were taken promptly and that the dishes arrived at our table in a timely manner.
Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant in Plano proved to be an excellent choice for a business lunch. The combination of delectable Mexican cuisine, spacious seating, and efficient service made it a convenient and enjoyable place to conduct business discussions. I highly recommend Abuelo’s to professionals looking for a reliable and satisfying dining experience during their workday.
I ordered the Steak & Enchiladas and the whole experience was just ho-hum. The steak was practically tasteless. Even the enchiladas lacked in flavor. The chips & salsa were the only things that seemed just as good.
This probably won’t be my last visit to Abuelo’s but it may be my last visit to this location.
They give you a great trio of salsa assortment with the chips we ordered guacamole on the side.
And then order of bacon wrapped shrimp absolutely wonderful!
The top shelf margaritas were also amazing
