Authentic to the core of you are looking for some real Mexican food. This is your one stop Mexican cuisine if you are visiting out of town, it’s well known for their Oaxacan dishes and delicious menu. The charro beans are one of my favorites when I do come here. Solid spot for all your Tex Mex favorites. I had an enchilada plate today- cheese, chicken and picadillo (ground beef). Everything had good flavor with the picadillo being my favorite of the three. The salsa here is really good and served warm. Service was attentive and definitely makes me want to return.

The food was good overall and our waiter was friendly. What stood out, though, was that management seemed to spend much more time greeting and checking on the tables around us while our table received very little attention. It made the service feel uneven and honestly a bit uncomfortable. I hope the restaurant works toward giving the same level of attention to every guest.

Friendly wait staff. Good service. Salsa was a little spicy for our taste but they had an avocado based salsa that was just right for spice and tasty too. Ordered the make your own plate. Had the pork tamale, cheese enchilada, and quacamole. Did not like the tamale because the masa was too thick, almost burnt on one end, and dry and hard on one side. It probably was left in the warming oven way too long. Cheese enchilada was much better. The quacamole was best of all. Also had the charro beans which were very good too. This was a Friday night with lots of people and a live band that started playing about 7pm.
